What will you do? As a Cloud Platform Architect at 4PS, you will define and drive the strategic direction of our cloud platform and software delivery architecture. You will establish architectural standards, technology roadmaps, and best practices that ensure our platforms, infrastructure, integrations, and delivery pipelines remain secure, scalable, resilient, and aligned with business goals. Working closely with architects, engineering teams, and product stakeholders, you will translate complex business requirements into future-proof technical solutions. In this role, you will provide technical leadership across cloud-native architecture, platform engineering, automation, security, and continuous delivery initiatives. You will oversee the evolution of our Azure ecosystem, guide key technology decisions, and drive architectural alignment across products, integrations, and the wider Hilti Construction Software portfolio. Your expertise will help shape a scalable and high-performing technology foundation that supports the continued growth of 4PS. What do you bring? 10+ years of experience in software engineering, cloud engineering, DevOps, platform engineering, or infrastructure architecture, with at least 5 years in a technical leadership or architect position; Extensive experience designing and governing enterprise-scale cloud platforms and DevOps operating models; Deep expertise in Microsoft Azure, cloud-native architectures, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep, ARM), CI/CD, automation, and platform engineering principles; Proven experience establishing architectural standards, security frameworks, and operational best practices across multiple product teams; Strong knowledge of containerization (Container Apps), microservices architectures, API management, integration patterns, and distributed systems; Strong knowledge in Azure Networking; Experience leading cloud transformation initiatives and driving adoption of Cloud Infrastructure practices; Familiarity with Microsoft's broader ecosystem, including Azure DevOps, GitHub Enterprise, Power Platform, Logic Apps, AI Foundry, and related technologies; Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence both technical and non-technical audiences; A passion for innovation, technical excellence, and building scalable platforms that enable development teams to succeed. Core Responsibilities

Guide Azure platform evolution, cloud transformation, and engineering practices while aligning architecture across products, integrations, and the wider Hilti Construction Software portfolio.

Requirements

Requires 10+ years of experience in software, cloud, DevOps, platform engineering, or infrastructure architecture, including at least five years in a technical leadership or architect role. Candidates should have extensive enterprise cloud and DevOps experience, deep Azure and cloud-native expertise, and strong knowledge of infrastructure as code, CI/CD, security, networking, containers, microservices, and stakeholder management.
