Job Description
Your role Do you enjoy bringing structure to a complex planning environment, staying one step ahead, and working with people across different markets and functions? As a Supply Chain Planner at Interfood, you will make sure our dairy products move from supplier to customer as smoothly as possible. You will work with colleagues, customers, suppliers and warehouses across our international supply chain to coordinate orders, manage planning and keep everything running on schedule. While much of the planning follows a clear rhythm, every week brings new challenges. You will be part of a collaborative team in a dynamic, commercial environment, with an informal atmosphere and short lines of communication. As a Supply Chain Planner, you will: Manage customer and supplier contracts throughout the order process. Coordinate incoming customer orders and translate them into an efficient planning. Match supply and demand based on forecasts and customer needs. Check product details, costs and quality requirements before orders are confirmed. Work closely with customers, suppliers and warehouses to manage changes and keep everyone informed. Identify opportunities to optimise planning and improve our supply chain. Collaborate with colleagues from Trade, Transport, SC Support, Finance and Quality Assurance. Visit customers, suppliers and warehouses to strengthen relationships and improve cooperation and processes. Your profile You enjoy bringing structure to complexity and finding solutions when plans change. You communicate easily with different stakeholders and like working in an international, fast-paced environment. A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration or a related field. Experience in a dynamic international environment, or the ambition to build your career in one. Strong communication skills in Dutch and English. French or German is a plus. An analytical mindset and an interest in using data, ERP systems and AI to work smarter and improve processes. A proactive attitude and the confidence to take ownership of your work. The ability to prioritise, stay organised and keep an overview, even when things change quickly. A customer-focused mindset and the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues, suppliers and customers.
Core Responsibilities
Manage customer and supplier contracts and orders, coordinate supply and demand planning, and ensure product, cost, and quality details are checked before confirmation. Work with customers, suppliers, warehouses, and internal teams to manage changes, improve planning processes, and strengthen supply chain relationships.
Requirements
A bachelor's or master's degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or a related field is requested, along with experience in or ambition to work in an international environment. Candidates should communicate strongly in Dutch and English, be analytical and proactive, take ownership, stay organized amid change, and build effective customer and supplier relationships; French or German is a plus.
