About our client Our client is a global biopharmaceutical company focused on developing and delivering medicines that improve patients’ lives worldwide. Its Breda site plays an important role in the supply and distribution of medicines to markets across the globe. You will work in an international Supply Chain environment where reliable product supply, effective planning and collaboration across teams are essential. About the position For our client in Breda, we are looking for a Supply Chain Manager – Product Planning. In this role, you will be responsible for the supply planning of a portfolio of products and production lines, covering both short-term tactical planning and longer-term strategic planning. You will continuously balance supply, demand, inventory, production capacity and business changes to ensure a stable and efficient supply plan. Working with local production teams and global Supply Chain stakeholders, you will identify risks, assess different scenarios and drive solutions when constraints arise. This is a hands-on planning position suited to an experienced Supply Planner, Product Planner or Supply Chain Planning professional who enjoys ownership, analysis and cross-functional collaboration. Responsibilities Own the tactical and strategic supply planning activities for assigned products and production lines. Manage short-, medium- and long-term supply plans and ensure they remain realistic and achievable. Monitor inventory, production capacity, supply constraints and product requirements. Identify supply risks and opportunities and proactively develop appropriate scenarios and solutions. Collaborate closely with production sites, resource owners and Supply Chain stakeholders to secure product availability. Participate in regular planning and Supply Chain meetings and provide insights and recommendations. Support planning activities related to product launches, phase-outs, variations and other business changes. Analyse deviations and constraints, identify root causes and drive corrective actions. Assess inventory positions against strategic targets while considering cost, cash and scrap exposure. Provide scenario analysis and planning insights to support tactical and strategic decisions. Work with global Supply Chain teams and contribute to longer-term planning strategies. Ensure planning cycles are completed accurately and within the required timelines. Requirements Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering or a related discipline. Several years of experience in Supply Planning, Product Planning or end-to-end Supply Chain Planning. Experience within a regulated or complex industry such as pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, medtech, food/beverage or ingredients is preferred. Strong understanding of supply planning, production capacity, inventory and supply constraints. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into practical decisions. Experience working cross-functionally with manufacturing, Supply Chain and other stakeholders. Experience with Lean, Six Sigma or Continuous Improvement is an advantage. Knowledge of SAP and Rapid Response (RR) is preferred. Strong ownership and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving supply issues. Comfortable working in an international environment and communicating with stakeholders at different levels. Strong English communication skills. An end-to-end Supply Chain mindset, combined with a practical and results-oriented approach.

Requirements

Requires a bachelor's or master's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related discipline, along with several years of experience in supply or end-to-end Supply Chain planning. Candidates should bring strong analytical, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills; experience in a regulated or complex industry and knowledge of SAP, Rapid Response, Lean, or Six Sigma are preferred.
