Core Responsibilities

Develop GraphQL gateways and federated supergraphs, including API orchestration and potential migration from Apollo Server to GraphQL Yoga. Collaborate with React frontend teams and Kotlin/JVM microservices teams while supporting API security, governance, performance, and observability.

Requirements

The role calls for expertise in GraphQL schema design, Apollo Federation v2, Apollo Server or GraphQL Yoga, and Azure API Management. Candidates should also have strong CI/CD and observability practices, event-driven integration experience, and familiarity with Kotlin/JVM microservices, resilience patterns, containerization, caching, and performance optimization.
