Job Description

01 About DC DNA DC DNA trains and certifies the people who build, run and maintain data centers. We work with operators, developers and service providers on assessments, technical training and recognized certification, combining theory with hands-on practice that stays as close as possible to the reality of a live facility. We are still a start-up, but we already work with large international organizations in the data center market. You will not be joining a finished machine. You will join at the point where we are putting the structure, processes and client experience in place for our next stage of growth. 02 The role As Learning & Operations Coordinator, you are the operational link between our clients, participants, trainers and systems. You make sure each client moves smoothly from a completed assessment to the right training, at the right time, with the right people, and that the administration behind it is in order. The first months are hands-on. You work closely with the founder, get to know our clients and processes, and gradually take ownership of the day-to-day training operation. As DC DNA grows, the role grows with it. For the right person, the next step is Operations Manager, with responsibility for a broader part of the business. 03 Your responsibilities Be the day-to-day point of contact for clients, participants, trainers and partners. Coordinate the full process from assessment results through to training planning and completion. Schedule training dates with clients and align availability with our subcontracted trainers and training partners. Manage registrations, training records and certificates in our assessment and training system. Keep planning, participant data and course information accurate and up to date. Support invoicing and general administration, including checking that completed training is ready to be invoiced and that all required information is in place. Follow up on open actions, so nothing gets lost between clients, participants and trainers. Monitor the quality and consistency of the training operation and flag issues or recurring problems. Help with the practical preparation of training sessions where needed. Help improve our processes, systems and way of working as the company scales. 04 Who we are looking for You do not need to know everything about data centers. We are looking for someone sharp, organized and reliable who is comfortable taking ownership. Experience in Learning & Development, training coordination, HR operations or another operational coordination role is highly relevant. Experience in a technical industry is a strong advantage. Around 2–5 years of relevant work experience. Attitude and growth potential count for more than a perfect CV. A background in L&D, training administration, HR operations, operations coordination, customer service or a comparable role. Fluent in Dutch and English, spoken and written, and at ease communicating with international clients in both languages. Strong planning and organizational skills. You like creating structure and keeping several actions moving at once. Confident and professional with clients, while staying approachable and practical. Proactive: when something needs to happen, you act instead of waiting to be asked. Comfortable in a small company where tasks sometimes fall outside a standard job description. Willing to travel when required, for example to client sites or projects elsewhere in Europe (0–25% of your time). Able to work independently after a structured onboarding and to make day-to-day operational decisions. Experience with LMS, assessment, CRM or planning software is useful, but not essential. Data center experience is a plus, not a requirement. If you bring the right operational mindset, we will teach you the sector. 05 What success looks like After onboarding, clients know they can come to you. Training schedules are accurate, trainers know where they need to be and participant records are complete. Invoicing happens without chasing missing information, and the founder no longer has to sit in the middle of every operational conversation. 06 What we offer A broad role with real responsibility in a company that is still being built. 32–40 hours per week, with flexibility for the right candidate. An indicative salary of €3,800–€4,500 gross per month based on 40 hours, depending on experience and profile (pro rata for part-time). 8% holiday allowance and 25 vacation days, based on full-time employment. Pension contribution, travel allowance, laptop and phone. A possible annual performance or company bonus, depending on the final employment package. A structured onboarding and direct exposure to our clients and the data center industry. A clear path towards Operations Manager as DC DNA continues to scale. Room to help shape how we work, rather than stepping into processes that are already fixed. 07 Why this role is different This role sits close to our clients, the training operation and the decisions that shape the company. It is an operational role with real ownership, not an assistant position. Some days are about planning and systems; on others you might solve an urgent client request or support a project elsewhere in Europe. If you like structure but also enjoy the pace and variety of a growing business, there is plenty of room here to make an impact. Interested? Tell us who you are, what you have done so far and why a growing training company in the data center industry appeals to you. Send your CV and a short motivation to [email protected].

Core Responsibilities

Coordinate the end-to-end training operation, from assessment results and scheduling through registrations, records, certificates, and completion. Serve as the day-to-day contact for clients, participants, trainers, and partners while supporting invoicing, monitoring quality, and improving operational processes.

Requirements

The role calls for around 2–5 years of relevant experience in learning and development, training administration, HR operations, customer service, or operational coordination; technical-industry experience is an advantage. Candidates should be fluent in Dutch and English, highly organized, proactive, comfortable taking ownership in a growing company, and willing to travel when required.

About DC DNA

Industry: Professional Training and Coaching

Company size: 2-10 employees

A data center runs on uptime, safety and compliance. One wrong move can cause downtime, damage or a failed audit. That risk often starts in the same place: people who lack the right training or certification for the environment they work in. DC DNA trains and certifies the people who keep data centers running. Our programs cover the disciplines that matter most on the floor: electrical work and the safe handling of installations, mechanical systems, emergency and first aid response in a data center setting, and compliance with standards like ISO 27001 and SOC 2. Everything is practical, to the point and built around your environment, on-site at a DC DNA location or online. We work with data center-related companies that want their staff to be demonstrably qualified. The result is a team that knows what it is doing, operations without avoidable incidents, and an organization that walks into every audit with confidence. Ready to certify your team? Book an intro call or explore the training programs at www.dc-dna.com. We teach the DNA of data centers.
