Welcome to JYSK! JYSK is a rapidly expanding retail chain with more than 3,000 stores in 50 countries. To support this growth logistically, the 10th distribution center is being built in Lelystad. Construction is in full swing, and we expect the distribution center to be operational by early 2027. But of course, that doesn’t mean we’re sitting still until then! Currently, a lot of work is being done in our temporary distribution center to ensure a smooth transition to the new facility. Job Description Quick facts: Fixed shifts, great teams, stable organization, modern DC coming soon Facts: Permanent contracts, great teams, a stable organization, and soon a modern distribution center Shift: Evening shift Working hours: Monday – Friday, 3:00 PM – 12:00 AM Contract: Full-time (40 hours per week) Hourly wage: From €16.46 per hour, excluding shift allowances Interviews (by invitation): Every Tuesday Start date: Every Monday Qualifications As a Warehouse Employee, you ensure that all goods are processed correctly and efficiently. Your responsibilities include: Loading and unloading trucks. Checking incoming goods. Picking orders using a handheld scanner. Preparing pallets for shipment. Maintaining a clean and safe working environment. Working in line with our values: Professionalism, Colleagueship, and Team Spirit. Do you already have experience in logistics? Great! If not, we will teach you. What matters most is that you: Enjoy physical work and like to stay active. Can work reliably in a structured environment. Are a team player and take responsibility for your work. Hold a forklift certificate or are willing to obtain one. Have a basic knowledge of English. Additional Information What We Offer An attractive salary starting from €16.46 per hour, plus excellent secondary employment benefits. A 50% shift allowance for hours worked between 9:00 PM and 12:00 AM (approximately €535 gross per month). A stable job with a successful, international Scandinavian company. Core Responsibilities
Load and unload trucks, inspect incoming goods, pick orders using a handheld scanner, and prepare pallets for shipment. Maintain a clean and safe workplace while working reliably and collaboratively in line with company values.
Requirements
Applicants should enjoy physical work, be reliable in a structured environment, take responsibility, and work well as part of a team. A forklift certificate is required or must be obtained, and basic English knowledge is expected; prior logistics experience is welcome but not required.
