Leiden | Full-time | as soon as possible As an SAP FI/CO Consultant, you will be the key functional contact for Finance & Accounting within SAP. You will shape and optimize SAP FI processes, work closely with Finance and IT, and play a leading role in the SAP S/4HANA rollout and merger integration. You will also coordinate external SAP service providers and ensure sustainable knowledge transfer into the organization. Your tasks Act as the functional lead for SAP FI, covering GL, AP, AR, Bank Accounting and Asset Accounting Analyze business requirements, design SAP solutions and translate them into clear functional specifications Own SAP FI customizing and coordinate external SAP service providers Lead testing activities, including integration testing and UAT, through to final sign-off Optimize Finance processes and drive standardization, automation and reduction of workarounds Lead the FI/CO workstream of the SAP S/4HANA rollout and merger integration Drive SD-FI and MM-FI integration, including account determination and Procure-to-Pay processes Support CO-related processes, particularly CO-OM, CO-PA and Profit Center Accounting Act as the key contact for business users and support the resolution of complex SAP FI/CO issues Build internal SAP FI knowledge and reduce dependency on external service providers Your profile 3–5 years of hands-on experience as an SAP FI Consultant Strong knowledge of SAP FI and proven SAP S/4HANA customizing experience Solid accounting knowledge and understanding of core Finance processes Experience in requirements management, solution design and SAP testing/UAT Good understanding of SD-FI integration; MM-FI and CO knowledge are an advantage Experience working with external SAP service providers. Core Responsibilities

Lead SAP FI functional work, including requirements analysis, solution design, customizing, testing, and resolution of complex user issues. Drive the FI/CO workstream for the S/4HANA rollout and merger integration, optimize Finance processes, coordinate external providers, and build internal SAP expertise.

Requirements

Candidates should have 3–5 years of hands-on SAP FI consulting experience, strong SAP FI and S/4HANA customizing knowledge, and a solid understanding of accounting and Finance processes. Experience with requirements, solution design, testing/UAT, and SD-FI integration is expected; MM-FI and CO knowledge are advantageous, along with fluent English and very good Dutch.
