Your job: As a Full Stack Engineer on the Core Feeds/Platform team, you will be at the heart of what made Channable big. You will dive deep into the features that are the foundations of our success, like export feeds, rules, imports and pricing. These are the features that together touch every single customer. In this role you will innovate, redesign, and iterate on these essential features to make customers want to start and then keep using Channable. Your team: This recently formed team is led by a seasoned Engineering Leader alongside a brilliant Python Software Engineer, offering an exciting space for anyone who loves high ownership and innovation! They work in close collaboration with a talented Frontend Engineer, Product Designer, and Product Manager to bring fresh ideas to life. Your challenges: Deeply understand the problems customers are trying to solve, together with the product manager, designer and other engineers in the team Come up with innovative technical solutions that strike at the heart of the customer’s problem Strike an effective balance between impactful innovation and holding technical debt at bay Carry responsibility for the features working well, and minimizing their operating cost Diagnosing and solving bugs in flows that pass through many different systems Switch focus between domains every quarter to half year, building extensive knowledge of each domain Work with varying technologies, such as React, Typescript, Python with type checking, Postgresql, Nix, Ubuntu, Sentry, Prometheus, GCS, OpenTelemetry, Grafana, Loki, Alembic, pytest and many more! Who are you? You are an enthusiastic developer, a critical thinker, and an excellent collaborator. Besides the skills you currently have, an eager-to-learn mindset is just as important. You don’t shy away from taking ownership and responsibility for your projects. You also have: At least 2 years of experience developing applications in (typed) Python, Typescript, and React, with a focus on backend. What do we offer? 💴 Gross monthly salary ranging from € 3,500 to € 5,000 based on a 40-hour work week. The salary is determined based on your experience. Additionally, you get 8% of your yearly salary as vacation allowance, which is paid together with your May salary. Take ownership of feature reliability and operating costs, manage technical debt, diagnose bugs across interconnected systems, and build expertise across different product domains.

Requirements

Applicants need at least two years of experience developing applications with typed Python, TypeScript, and React, with a backend focus, as well as familiarity with SQL and relational databases. Working knowledge of Linux, Git, and command-line tools is required; database and application performance optimization or distributed-systems experience is an advantage.
