Tätigkeit: Perform acoustic, vibration, shock, and mass-property testing in accordance with applicable test requirements Plan and execute test preparation activities, including instrumentation, setup, verification, and readiness of test equipment and facilities Perform and document facility maintenance and calibration Identify and report test or equipment deviations, lead root-cause investigations, and implement appropriate corrective actions, including corrective maintenance measures Support the maintenance, modification, and upgrade of test facilities, liaising with suppliers and consultants and coordinating third-party activities on site Collaborate with international customers and multidisciplinary test teams on complex space programmes and industrial projects Contribute to continuous improvement by providing suggestions and participating to Lesson Learnt reviews Voraussetzungen: Bachelor’s degree or relevant technical vocational qualification / HBO Diploma Practical experience with mechanical testing and measurement systems Good knowledge of vibration and acoustic testing facilities for components, subsystems, and complete systems Basic knowledge of electrical systems and diagrams, with the ability to troubleshoot Ability to work independently in accordance with applicable processes, standards, and requirements Fluent in English, both written and spoken; willingness to work occasional shifts and Saturdays Ziele: Ensure that the mechanical test facility performance is according to specification by maintaining the equipment and tools as planned. Ensure that tests are performed in a timely and efficient manner, in the right configuration by providing operational support during test and facility preparation. Ensure that 3rd party suppliers efficiently perform their tasks on site by providing support during major maintenance interventions or facility modifications.

Core Responsibilities

Perform acoustic, vibration, shock, and mass-property tests, including preparation, instrumentation, equipment verification, maintenance, and calibration. Investigate and correct equipment or test deviations, support facility upgrades and supplier activities, and collaborate with international customers and multidisciplinary teams.

Requirements

Requires a bachelor’s degree or relevant technical vocational qualification/HBO diploma, practical experience with mechanical testing and measurement systems, and knowledge of vibration and acoustic test facilities. Candidates should have basic electrical troubleshooting skills, work independently to applicable standards, be fluent in English, and be willing to work occasional shifts and Saturdays.
