Job Description

Agricultural greenhouses are key toward a sustainable food supply, however they have significant energetic needs due to heating and artificial lightening. There is a push from governments, retailers and consumers to reduce carbon footprint of greenhouses. Voltiris enables double-use of large greenhouses surfaces to produce electricity without impacting their high agricultural yield. Voltiris introduces a solar panel design to generate electricity from the part of sunlight's spectrum that is unused for crop growth. Internship: Marketing The Hague, Netherlands · Full-time · Hybrid (60% office) · 6 months (with the possibility of a permanent position offer) Start date: As soon as possible · Travel: ~20% across Europe Voltiris is changing how greenhouses generate energy. Our technology lets growers produce their own electricity without giving up a single crop. We are growing fast, and the story we tell about what we do matters as much as the technology itself. At Voltiris, marketing is where the story begins. It's how we move into the next chapter, build credibility, and bring the right people into the conversation. This internship is for someone who understands that. Who thrives in this role: We took the time to define what this role truly demands before we started looking. Someone who builds genuine trust quickly through warmth, clarity and the ability to make people feel heard. Someone who can take a complex idea and make it land with the person across the table. Someone who sees the whole picture and guides others toward it. You don't wait to be told what to say next. You read the room, find the thread, and help the team move forward together. Someone who connects ideas to people. You find genuine energy in understanding what matters to your audience and shaping a message that meets them there. Not generic content. Real communication. Someone who thrives in a fast-moving environment where no two days are the same and what you do is visible. You'll work closely with our Marketing Manager in The Hague and with the Sales team. What you produce will be seen by growers, partners and prospects across Europe. In this role you will: Write content that makes our technology tangible, such as customer stories, case studies, white papers, articles and presentations. This includes talking with growers to find the angle that makes people want to read. Help organize trade fairs, conferences and customer events across Europe, and make sure they lead to real follow-up. Update the website, support SEO, and publish on LinkedIn. Build newsletters and email campaigns that turn interested contacts into real prospects. Create sales materials together with the Sales team. Collect and analyze marketing KPIs, and suggest what to change when something isn't working. Must have: A recently completed degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or a related field English, both spoken and written The ability to travel independently about 20% of the time Excel and PowerPoint proficiency Nice to have: Experience in horticulture, agriculture, renewable energy or B2B marketing Dutch, German Canva, Photoshop, and AI tools A driving license What we offer: A real possibility of a full-time position after the internship Hands-on mentoring from our Marketing Manager and Director of Sales & Marketing Travel across Europe to trade fairs and customer sites, with travel costs covered Team events A monthly internship allowance of €700 gross Commuting costs to the office cost covered We are not looking for the most experienced candidate.
