As a Solution Engineer, you will be part of the Go to Market organization, reporting to the Manager of International Solutions Engineering. You will work primarily with our UKI & Benelux sales teams supporting sales opportunities and driving customer acquisition, while working on fun and challenging projects that help drive our business and market growth. You will also be the interface between Sales, Product & Eng, Customer Success on technical topics and product-related projects Role Responsibilities: What you'll do You will be the primary point of contact for our sales team focused on working with our Medium Business customers in UKI and Benelux. You will collaborate with account executives on sales opportunities to determine and validate technical requirements, product use cases and solution scope As an SE, you’ll have deep technical knowledge of Personio’s product suite and be the first line of defense and product expert for sales and prospects You will support the creation of commercial proposals and executive presentations, including business value assessment with ROI/TCO calculations You will support other regions/markets as required Travel to customer site as needed (10-20% of time) Role Requirements: What you need to succeed You have 2-3+ years of experience in Solutions Engineering or a similar profession You have a technical background and understanding of SaaS, IT infrastructure, IT stack and security protocols You are customer-centric and commercially driven You are also data-driven, think analytically and are able to rightsize your efforts based on customer/business needs Up to date knowledge in security/compliance (e.g. ISO27k) Clear and structured communication style that can suit changing dynamics Full-professional proficiency in English required, Dutch is a plus Why Personio Personio is an equal opportunities employer, committed to building an integrative culture where everyone feels welcomed and supported. Core Responsibilities

Support UKI and Benelux sales teams by partnering with account executives to validate technical requirements, product use cases, and solution scope for medium-business customers. Serve as a product and technical expert, contribute to commercial proposals and executive presentations, and act as an interface between Sales, Product and Engineering, and Customer Success.

Requirements

Candidates need at least 2–3 years of experience in Solutions Engineering or a similar role, along with a technical understanding of SaaS, IT infrastructure, IT stacks, and security protocols. The role also requires customer focus, commercial drive, analytical and data-driven thinking, current security and compliance knowledge, clear communication, and professional fluency in English; Dutch is a plus.
