-
Remote monitoring & diagnostics: Utilizing advanced data and IoT platforms to provide predictive, real-time remote monitoring and diagnostics support, maximizing equipment uptime.
-
Technical & product training: Designing and delivering world-class technical training for dealers, importers, end customers, and Hiab service technicians.

Collaboration: Act as a central point of contact for local Customer Service Centers (technical helpdesks and field services), product development, and global data teams
2. Leg 1: Remote services
-
Condition monitoring: Lead the day-to-day monitoring of incoming telemetry alerts, performing diagnostics on mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems
-
Value delivery: Drive the adoption of HiPerform solutions, ensuring customers under our ProCare agreements receive actionable, fact-based repair and operational recommendations
-
Data utilization: Collaborate with data teams to combine multiple data sources, utilizing business intelligence and data visualization tools to optimize fleet performance and predict maintenance needs
-
Knowledge management: Oversee the creation and maintenance of technical knowledge articles and documentation to standardize global troubleshooting
3. Leg 2: Technical & Product Training
-
Training delivery & strategy: Ensure the center designs, schedules, and delivers top-tier technical training covering Hiab’s equipment portfolio, control systems, and digital tools
-
Audience alignment: Tailor complex technical training curricula in collaboration with Hiab’s equipment divisions to suit different stakeholder needs, from independent regional importers to internal service engineers
-
Competency development: Map regional skill gaps across European markets to ensure training material directly addresses local needs and safety standards.
What we are looking for
-
Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Operations, or a similar technical field
-
Leadership: Proven experience in team leadership or supervisory roles, ideally in a multicultural or matrix organization
-
Industry domain: Solid experience in heavy equipment maintenance, diagnostics, problem-solving, and troubleshooting (hydraulics, engines, and electrical systems)
-
Telemetry & digital: Familiarity with machine telemetry solutions (Edge gateways, control systems, M2M connectivity) and remote monitoring service environments
-
Data & Analytics: Familiarity with Business Intelligence tools (e.g. Google Data Studio) and an interest in data visualization
-
Methodologies: Understanding of Agile development methodologies and experience working with modern ticketing systems
-
Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English. Ability to translate complex technical data analyses into clear, actionable presentations for business and operational stakeholders. Other European languages (e.g., Dutch, German, French) are highly valued
-
Mindset: Highly energetic, proactive, and collaborative, with a passion for developing a superior customer experience.
What we offer
-
A unique "greenfield" opportunity to shape and grow a brand-new, highly visible center within a market-leading global company
-
A dynamic role bridging digital innovation (IoT/telematics) with hands-on technical education
-
A collaborative, international environment with opportunities for professional growth within the wider Hiab network.
