At QED Technologies Europe, you will join an international organisation in Delft that develops high-end optical metrology instruments used globally in satellites, telescopes, medical imaging devices, and semiconductor manufacturing.
As an Experienced Financial Administrator, you will play an important role in keeping the financial administration of our organisation running smoothly. With finance as the clear focus of your role, you will have ownership of the financial administration and the opportunity to identify and contribute to process improvements. You will work closely with the Finance & HR Manager and colleagues across the organisation.
What you will do
In this role, you will primarily support the financial administration and contribute to a small number of HR-related administrative activities.
Your key responsibilities:
- Process and book incoming purchase invoices
- Prepare and issue sales invoices
- Process bank transactions and keep the financial administration up to date
- Support the monthly closing process, including recurring journal entries
- Support VAT administration
- Check financial data and ensure records are complete and accurate
- Support HR administration, including contracts, employee records, and absence registration
- Prepare financial reports and provide administrative support where needed
- Work closely with the Finance & HR Manager and relevant colleagues on financial and administrative matters

What you bring
You are a structured and accurate professional who enjoys administrative work and supporting finance and HR processes. You work independently, are service-oriented, and communicate clearly with colleagues and external stakeholders.
Your profile includes:
- MBO4 / HBO working and thinking level, preferably in finance or administration
- Relevant experience in financial administration, including processing purchase and sales invoices, bank transactions, and supporting monthly financial closing
- Good skills in ERP, CRM, Excel, Word, or similar systems
- Accurate, structured, and detail-oriented way of working
- Proactive and customer-oriented communication style
- Good command of Dutch and English, both written and spoken
