Your mission
Most students learn finance from a textbook. At Holie's you'll learn it by doing the real work. We're a fast-growing FMCG company making healthy granola and bars, sold in supermarkets across the Netherlands, Belgium and the UK, and we're expanding further into Europe. As our Working Student Accounting & Control, you join the Finance team, work on real numbers from day one and get paid while you study.What you’ll actually do
- Get hands-on with day-to-day accounting. Purchase and sales invoices, payments, reconciliations and 3-way matching in Exact Online. You'll see how the numbers of an FMCG company come together, from supplier to supermarket shelf.
- Learn Financial Control. Work alongside our Financial Controllers on month-end closing, reporting and controls, and take on more of it yourself as you grow.
- Help build Finance for the next stage. New countries, new entities and getting audit-ready mean a lot is still being built. You'll help make our processes faster, smarter and ready to scale.
We’d probably get along if
- You're doing a bachelor or master in Accounting or something closely related.
- You know your accounting basics and are comfortable in Excel. Relevant work experience is a big plus.
- You're sharp, curious and like getting things done.
- You speak fluent Dutch and English.
- You're available 16-24 hours a week, in our Amsterdam office, ideally for more than a year.

You will handle day-to-day accounting tasks such as invoice processing, payments, and reconciliations while supporting the financial controllers with month-end closing and reporting. Additionally, you will contribute to scaling finance processes as the company expands into new markets.
Requirements
Candidates must be currently enrolled in a bachelor or master program in Accounting or a related field and possess strong Excel skills. Proficiency in both Dutch and English is required, along with the ability to work 16-24 hours per week from the Amsterdam office.
