Finance LOCATION Alkmaar, COMPANY Driessen Catering Equipment (A CCE Group Company) DEPARTMENT Finance REPORTS TO Finance Manager EMPLOYMENT TYPE Full-time THE OPPORTUNITY As GL Accountant, you will be part of the Finance Shared Services Center of Driessen Catering Equipment, providing accounting support to multiple entities across the CCE Group, including Driessen and AviusULD. You will take ownership of the General Ledger for AviusULD Netherlands and AviusULD USA, ensuring accurate financial reporting, statutory compliance and timely month-end closings while working closely with colleagues in the Netherlands, Thailand and the United States. A role with ownership, not just execution. You will be responsible for the complete accounting cycle of your assigned entities, ensuring high-quality financial administration, strong internal controls and continuous process improvements within the Shared Services environment. Key Responsibilities. General Ledger & Month-End Close Own the General Ledger for both AviusULD entities, ensuring accurate and complete financial records. Prepare and post journal entries, including accruals, payroll, depreciation, commissions and other accounting adjustments. Perform balance sheet reconciliations, account analyses and Profit & Loss reviews. Ensure accurate revenue recognition, cost allocation and intercompany reconciliations, including currency revaluations. Financial Reporting Lead the month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing processes. Prepare and validate monthly reporting packages in Fluence, resolving reconciliation and intercompany differences. Deliver accurate financial reports, analyses and management information. Support both statutory and management reporting. Tax, Compliance & Working Capital Prepare Dutch VAT, ICL, Foreign VAT and CBS returns. Support US statutory and tax reporting in collaboration with external advisors. Manage the end-to-end factoring process and contribute to effective working capital management. Monitor accounting and tax developments to ensure ongoing compliance. ERP & Process Improvement Act as the Finance key user for Infor LN (Baan), maintaining finance master data, chart of accounts and system integrations. Develop advanced Excel reporting and reconciliation tools using Power Query, pivot tables and complex formulas. Drive continuous improvements in financial processes, systems and internal controls. Cash Management & Stakeholder Collaboration Prepare cash flow forecasts and process EUR and USD payment runs. Coordinate annual external audits and maintain strong relationships with auditors, banks, suppliers and other stakeholders. Work closely with finance teams across the Netherlands, Thailand and the United States, communicating effectively across different cultures and time zones. Continuous Improvement Identify opportunities to simplify, standardise and automate financial processes. Help further develop the Finance Shared Services Center by implementing best practices across the CCE Group. Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting. 4–6 years’ experience in General Ledger accounting. Strong ERP and advanced Excel skills. Experience with audits and statutory reporting. Fluent English; Dutch is an advantage. Core Responsibilities

Own the complete accounting cycle and General Ledger for AviusULD Netherlands and the United States, including journal entries, reconciliations, financial reporting, tax compliance, and month-, quarter-, and year-end closings. Manage cash forecasts and payment runs, coordinate audits and stakeholders, and improve finance processes, systems, and internal controls across the Shared Services Center.

Requirements

A bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting and 4–6 years of General Ledger accounting experience are required, along with strong ERP and advanced Excel skills and experience with audits and statutory reporting. Fluent English is required; Dutch is an advantage, and the role calls for accuracy, analytical ability, ownership, organization, deadline management, and strong communication.
