What To Expect The Marketing & Communication team consists of one Marketing & Communication Manager, Marketing Coordinator and a Social Media & Content Marketeer. The team is responsible for the internal and external communication channels within the Hotel, restaurants and bars, cooking studio, Nagomi Spa & Health and Banquet facilities. Working days are from Monday to Friday from 09:00-17:00. It is possible to work on your thesis or any assigned school tasks once a week. As a Marketing & Communications Trainee you will be responsible together with our Marketing and Communications department, for the internal and external communication of Hotel Okura Amsterdam. You will design and apply tasks concerning internal and external communication. You will handle assignments for collaborations or reports within the hotel such as external parties or bloggers. You will write memo’s for internal communication, spread social media posts and write text for websites or articles. You will assist in constructing monthly reports and provide press tours within the Hotel. Your Main Tasks Will Be Assist in organizing and planning internal photo and film shoots; Controlling and administrating incoming clippings; Elect requests made for collaborations such as articles or blogs; Provide tasks and discuss any changes needed with the designer; Developing and posting social media content, such as: Facebook and Instagram; Updating all external websites where Hotel Okura Amsterdam is mentioned; Compiling the monthly Marketing and Communications report; Developing memo’s for internal use; Assist in the development of texts for articles and websites; Assisting the entire Marketing department with Marketing projects; Provide Hotel tours to external parties such as Schools. Working days are from Monday to Friday from 09:00-17:00. To assist during events, you may need to work in the evening or on weekends. It is possible to work on your thesis or any assigned school tasks once a week. Requirements

Applicants must be studying hotel management or marketing and have a strong interest in the hotel industry and social media. They should be presentable, guest-oriented, communicative, discreet with confidential information, eager to learn, able to work independently, motivated, and flexible.
