Research Analyst – Modeling and Meta-Analysis Reports to Senior Research Consultant Modeling and Meta-Analysis Job Summary As a Research Analyst at OPEN Health, you are an essential contributor to our Modeling and Meta-Analysis team, working across various HEOR projects, which may include health economic modelling, indirect treatment comparisons, and trial data analysis. You are proactive, responsive, and able to balance shifting priorities to ensure promises are kept and expectations are exceeded. You will have responsibility for delivering high-quality outputs and ownership of specific project components, deliverables, and timelines. You will support project leads in a fast-paced, multi-disciplinary, international organization. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Designing and constructing health economic models (i.e., cost-effectiveness models, budget impact models) from scratch, as well as adapting existing models Developing project reports, analysis plans, and other deliverables Conducting relevant data analyses (i.e., survival analyses, meta-analysis) to support model development Helping to ensure timely delivery of project subcomponents by proactively flagging changes to scope and timelines to senior colleagues Supporting with client interactions and outreach to ensure client satisfaction Assisting with requests for proposals and developing strong client relationships to win new business Keeping abreast with the latest developments in the field Experience, Skills, And Qualifications Master’s Degree or PhD in any relevant science, such as health economics, econometrics, economics, pharmacy, epidemiology, statistics or medical sciences Experience within the field of HEOR would be an advantage, specifically hands-on experience in the development of cost-effectiveness and budget impact models, and familiarity with the context of health economic modelling, reimbursement dossiers, and health technology assessment submissions Intellectual curiosity and independence, to include the ability to self-start and self-teach Experience with (statistical) software: VBA, R (version control, RMarkdown and Shiny), STAN (or equivalent MCMC simulation software) would be an advantage Full proficiency in MS Office programs: Excel, Word, PowerPoint Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) along with the ability to clearly communicate complex methods to other team members and our clients Proactive, responsive and able to balance shifting priorities Team player, but also able to work independently Strong organizational skills and attention to detail About OPEN Health At OPEN Health, we connect visionary minds, pioneering science, and advanced technology to drive real impact. Core Responsibilities

Design, build, and adapt health economic models, conduct analyses such as survival analysis and meta-analysis, and prepare reports, analysis plans, and other project deliverables. Support project leads with timelines, client interactions, proposals, and business development while maintaining high-quality outputs and staying current with developments in the field.

Requirements

A master's degree or PhD in a relevant scientific discipline is required, with HEOR experience and hands-on health economic modeling experience considered advantageous. Candidates should demonstrate analytical curiosity, proficiency with relevant statistical software and MS Office, strong communication and organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
