Vector Synergy is a prime contractor for NATO and European Union agencies. We are currently seeking a Chief Technician with a NATO Cosmic Top Secret security clearance. Location: Brunssum, Netherlands (relocation required) Security Clearance: NATO Cosmic Top Secret (mandatory) Contract: B2B Skills, knowledge, experience required: Must have excellent spoken and written English communication and presentation skills, as demonstrated by recent experience (within the past 5 years); Must have proficiency in the Office Suite and reporting tools; Must have excellent understanding and experience of network communication protocols TCP/IP, OSI layers, Firewalls and Security principles. Nice to have: Have a detailed understanding of cybersecurity issues within NATO or a national environment, including the Security and Defence Policies rationales; Demonstrate an analytical and systematic approach to problem solving; Good understanding of networking, network analysis and measurement techniques; Relevant certification in IT Service Management such as ITIL 4 Foundation, ITIL 4 Specialist; A valid CCNA or CCNP certification; Microsoft certification; Trellix practical skills and experience. Duties/role: Escalating complex issues to Level 3 support teams and supporting troubleshooting, debugging, and issue resolution activities; Documenting and escalating technical issues and trouble tickets while ensuring proper tracking and communication; Providing Subject Matter Expertise (SME) for JSSC applications to end users and Communities of Interest (COIs).

Core Responsibilities

Escalate complex issues to Level 3 support teams and assist with troubleshooting, debugging, and resolution. Document and track technical issues and trouble tickets, communicate their status, and provide subject matter expertise on JSSC applications to end users and Communities of Interest.

Requirements

A mandatory NATO Cosmic Top Secret clearance is required, along with recent experience demonstrating excellent spoken and written English and presentation skills. Candidates must be proficient with Office Suite and reporting tools and have strong knowledge of TCP/IP, OSI layers, firewalls, and security principles; cybersecurity expertise, networking certifications, ITIL, Microsoft certification, and Trellix experience are advantageous.
