Job Description Role: Application Specialist Cadmatic Hull Work location: Vlissingen, the Netherlands – hybrid Start: ASAP Duration: One year Contract: Employment contract Language: English; Dutch is an advantage Focus: Functional management, configuration and user support for Cadmatic Hull within naval shipbuilding Due to the military nature of the project, only EU citizens will be considered. If your background combines shipbuilding engineering with functional application management, this Functional Application Specialist Cadmatic Hull position in Vlissingen, the Netherlands, offers a clear link between engineering and IT. You will configure Cadmatic Hull project environments, translate user needs into application functionality, and support colleagues working on complex naval vessels. English is the working language, while Dutch would be an advantage. Relocation support is available for candidates moving to the Netherlands. Where You’ll Work You will join an international engineering support team working on advanced naval vessels. The team supports the CAD and PLM applications used throughout the product lifecycle, from setting up project environments to assisting engineering users during ongoing projects. This position connects engineering, IT, software suppliers and knowledge partners. Your work will help ensure that Cadmatic Hull is configured correctly and that engineers have access to the required project data, application functionality and technical support. What You’ll Do Translate engineering business needs into functional specifications for Cadmatic Hull developments. Analyse application issues with engineering users and other stakeholders and define practical solutions. Develop and implement application processes and functionalities. Set up and configure project environments within Cadmatic Hull. Manage catalogues, libraries, specifications and other project-related data. Administer user access rights and manage interfaces between Cadmatic Hull and other applications. Maintain working relationships with software suppliers and knowledge partners. Provide functional support to PLM and CAD users and prepare training materials, application documentation, user manuals and practical tips. Organise application-related training in coordination with the Manager Engineering Support. What’s In It For You?
