For our international portfolio company Hüppe a leading manufacturer of premium bathroom products, headquartered in Germany with subsidiaries across Europe, we are looking for you as a Managing Director Netherlands (m/f/d) As the Managing Director Netherlands, your key responsibility is to manage and lead the company in all aspects, establishing and maintaining a sustainable profit level. In this sales-oriented role, you develop and implement relevant business strategies to strengthen the company’s position in the market and establish a performance-oriented culture through personal and strong leadership. Furthermore, your core task is to develop and grow a cost efficient and competent organization needed to deliver strong business results and ensure professional customer relationship management. The role reports to the global CEO. Responsibilities Leading the business: Overall responsibility for the country, including P&L ownership Realign/strengthen multi-tier go to market and sales Strengthen customer relationships and improve sales performance/delivery Ensure transparency and alignment (with HQ and neighbouring markets) Optimize professional key-account processes and tools, including the implementation of state-of-the art sales instruments Identify and utilize opportunities for innovation and growth in a highly competitive market Leading the people: Build winning sales team (lead by example) Ensure transparency and effective market approach (priorities) Drive the development and growth of the local organization Actively strive to foster a positive “spirit” and performance-oriented behavior within the company Foster synergies and collaboration between the national team and HQ Qualifications required Excellent management expertise with proven track record in developing and implementing growth strategies Specific, proven experience in driving business growth in The Netherlands, managing an extensive multi-channel sales model Deep understanding of sales, marketing and service operations for building material products Familiarity with the European bathroom industry is an advantage Strong financial understanding, leadership and communication skills as well as business acumen High personal drive and decision-making ability as well as result oriented and driven by performance Fluent in Dutch and English, German is an advantage
Core Responsibilities
Lead Hüppe’s Netherlands business with full country-level P&L responsibility, strengthening sales, customer relationships, market position, and sustainable profitability. Build and develop a capable, cost-efficient organization and sales team while improving alignment with headquarters and neighboring markets.
Requirements
Candidates should have a proven record of developing and implementing growth strategies, driving business growth in the Netherlands, and managing extensive multi-channel sales. They should understand sales, marketing, and service operations for building materials, bring strong financial and leadership skills, and be fluent in Dutch and English; bathroom-industry familiarity and German are advantages.
