Lingopie is the world's 1st language learning platform that uses TV shows & Movies to teach languages. We at Lingopie believe that learning when it's fun and engaging is more effective. The Lingopie platform offers TV shows with subtitles in their native languages. Each word is clickable so you immediately get its translation. Every clicked-on word will be added to your personal word-bank that allows you to easily review them later with a built-in flashcard feature. In addition, you can adjust the speed of the video to your level of comfort and much more. We are looking for someone who: Loves Dutch TV shows and videos and will help us transcribe and create subtitles for TV shows including films and web series, Kids content, Educational content and Music. Wants to help us build the Dutch Catalog creating and managing categories inside the catalog, researching for content, and following a launching schedule based on the users' requests for language-learning. Requirements: Fluent (C2) in Dutch - A must! Fluent (C2) in English. - A must! Knowledge of AI tools for Transcription & Translation Knowledge of Subtitle Edit and/or Aegisub Attentive to details. In depth knowledge of grammatical rules. Impeccable written communication skills. Well organized with great time management skills Passion for languages Ability to work remotely We are looking for someone that can work about 20h a week. Thank you!

Core Responsibilities

Transcribe and create subtitles for Dutch-language television shows, films, web series, children's content, educational content, and music. Build and manage the Dutch content catalog by organizing categories, researching content, and following a launch schedule informed by users' language-learning requests.

Requirements

Candidates must be fluent at C2 level in Dutch and English, have knowledge of AI transcription and translation tools, and be familiar with Subtitle Edit and/or Aegisub. They should have strong Dutch grammar and written communication skills, attention to detail, good organization and time management, a passion for languages, and the ability to work remotely.
