Purpose of the Role The Senior Partnerships Manager owns the full commercial cycle for Barter's enterprise and agency vertical in the Netherlands. This includes prospecting, pitching, and closing high-value creator campaign deals with direct brands and with Tier 1 and Tier 2 media agencies. Beyond closing, the role carries end-to-end commercial ownership of each client relationship: managing scope adjustments during live campaigns, resolving commercial issues, leading post-campaign evaluations, and driving renewals, upsells, and new campaign sales within existing accounts. The Netherlands is Barter's home market and most mature commercial environment. This role requires a profile that combines strategic relationship building with hands-on deal execution and the commercial instinct to grow accounts over time. Core Responsibilities New Business Development Identify, prospect, and qualify enterprise-level brands for direct creator campaign partnerships in the Dutch market. Engage Tier 1 and Tier 2 Media Agencies (Publicis, OMNICOM, WPP, HAVAS, DENTSU, and major independent Dutch agencies) as a primary sales channel. Build and manage a pipeline of high-value opportunities with longer sales cycles and multi-stakeholder decision-making. Develop tailored proposals and commercial structures that align Barter's full-service offering with brand objectives. Close partnership deals that contribute to the Netherlands market's revenue targets. Client Relationship and Campaign Oversight Act as the primary commercial point of contact for both direct brand and agency clients throughout the campaign lifecycle. Coordinate with the Campaign team to ensure delivery aligns with what was sold and agreed. Resolve commercial escalations and protect both client satisfaction and Barter's margins. Renewals, Upselling, and Account Growth Lead post-campaign evaluations with clients to review performance and identify follow-up opportunities. Drive contract renewals, upsells to larger campaign scopes, and new campaign sales within existing accounts. Develop a structured approach to account planning that maximises client lifetime value. Feed market insights and client feedback to the Head of Partnerships for commercial and product improvement. Desired Knowledge and Experience 8+ years of experience in B2B sales, ideally in media, creator marketing, or influencer marketing environments. Proven track record of managing full sales cycles with longer timelines and multi-stakeholder sign-off. Experience building and maintaining commercial relationships at marketing manager or director level within brands. Comfortable engaging Tier 1 and Tier 2 agencies as a primary commercial channel. Strong negotiation skills and confidence handling commercial discussions around scope, pricing, and contract terms. Ability to manage a portfolio of active client relationships alongside active new business development. Familiarity with HubSpot and structured pipeline management. Native-level Dutch required; professional English required. In-depth understanding of the Dutch digital marketing and media landscape, including digital advertising, brand strategy, content marketing, and the role of creator and influencer marketing within the broader media mix. Decision-Making Scope Full ownership of the partnerships pipeline and client relationships in the Netherlands market. Autonomy to structure proposals, negotiate deal terms, and manage commercial adjustments within agreed boundaries. Authority to decide when a lead is no longer viable and should be deprioritised. Escalation to the Head of Partnerships for deals that fall outside standard commercial frameworks or require strategic alignment. Success Indicators Revenue generated from partnerships in the Netherlands market (primary KPI). Number of deals closed per quarter. Client retention and renewal rate. Upsell and expansion revenue from existing accounts. Pipeline health: volume, velocity, and conversion rate. Quality of post-campaign evaluations and resulting follow-up deals.

Requirements
Requires 8+ years of B2B sales experience, ideally in media, creator marketing, or influencer marketing, with a record of managing long sales cycles and multiple stakeholders. Candidates need native-level Dutch, professional English, strong negotiation and relationship-building skills, knowledge of the Dutch digital marketing landscape, and familiarity with HubSpot and structured pipeline management.
