As Strategic Programme Manager, you lead high-stakes, cross-functional initiatives that shape the future of our bank. Initially, you will lead the implementation of the strategy for Triodos Investment Management (TIM), ensuring its successful delivery and implementation. You will work closely with TIM leadership, Strategy Execution, HR, Risk and Communications to deliver a major organisational transformation that strengthens TIM's commercial effectiveness, scalability and long-term sustainability. In the future you will be expected to lead other important strategic programmes that are complex, high impact and/or multi-country. Your role is to lead and design the strategic content of our programmes. From this perspective you shape design decisions, align stakeholders and drive disciplined execution to deliver measurable outcomes that advance Triodos’ mission. You will report to the Lead Project & Programme Management and collaborate closely with senior leadership to turn strategy into reality. How You Will Make a Difference You ensure that Triodos’ strategic programmes are delivered reliably and successfully and create both business value and positive impact. Your key responsibilities are: Programme Leadership: Establish and lead the TIM Transformation Office. Translate organisational design principles into detailed implementation plans, governance structures and operating models. Programme delivery: Identify, assess, prioritise, and resolve risks and issues across the whole strategic programme. Removing blockers and ensuring escalations are managed effectively to ensure in-time delivery Support decision-making: You create clear decision-oriented communication, simplify complex issues and prepare decision-making by TIM board or the Executive Board Stakeholder Alignment: Develop and implement stakeholder engagement strategies across the programme to secure buy-in, resolve conflicts, and drive decision-making Governance & Risk Management: Establish and enforce robust programme governance, risk management, and reporting frameworks to ensure transparency and accountability Resource & Dependency Management: Coordinate resources, dependencies, and priorities across multiple workstreams, countries, and departments to maintain momentum and quality Change & Impact Delivery: Drive adoption and embed change across the organisation, ensuring sustainable impact beyond programme completion Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to optimise programme delivery, share best practices, and elevate Triodos’ strategic execution capabilities. Strategic sparring partner: Act as strong strategic sparring partner and trusted advisor to management and/or colleagues to give strategic advice What You Will Bring 10+ years of experience in (strategic programme) management, leading large-scale, complex initiatives in banking, financial services, or sustainability-driven organisations. Extensive experience within asset management, investment management, wealth management or broader financial services. Proven experience delivering organisational redesign, target operating model and change implementation programmes. Exceptional communication, negotiation, and influence skills to align diverse stakeholders and navigate organisational complexity Solutions-oriented, with a bias for action and a track record of removing blockers to keep programmes on track Strong decision-making and adaptability, when facing challenges or ambiguity Professional proficiency of the English language (spoken & written). Core Responsibilities

Lead the implementation of Triodos Investment Management’s strategy and establish its Transformation Office, translating organisational design principles into implementation plans, governance, and operating models. Coordinate cross-functional workstreams, resources, risks, stakeholders, and decision-making while driving adoption and measurable, sustainable programme outcomes.

Requirements

Requires 10+ years of strategic programme management experience leading complex initiatives in banking, financial services, or sustainability-driven organisations, with extensive experience in asset, investment, wealth management, or related financial services. Candidates should have delivered organisational redesign, target operating model, and change programmes, and demonstrate strong communication, negotiation, influence, decision-making, and English-language skills.
