Context For large-scale data center construction projects, the Field Engineer is responsible for coordinating and technically monitoring ICT installations and specialized systems (fire detection, BMS). They ensure adherence to schedules, installation quality, and the coordination of field teams for their assigned work package. Key Responsibilities Construction Coordinator Role The consultant works on industrial electrical installation projects. They lead the field construction team and act as the liaison between the project team (Project Manager, Project Engineer) and the construction crews. They prepare and plan site activities, ensure material availability, and track work progress. They verify that the work performed complies with execution plans, quality requirements, and safety regulations. They provide regular reports to the project team and the construction coordinator. They facilitate information flow and help resolve technical issues encountered in the field. Typical tasks: • Review the execution documentation provided by the Project Engineer and ensure its implementation on-site. • Prepare and plan site activities in coordination with project stakeholders. • Verify the availability of necessary materials, consumables, tools, and handling equipment. • Monitor work progress, schedule milestones, and any deviations, and report findings to the project team. • Ensure the productivity of construction teams. • Coordinate daily interactions between the design office, field teams, and the client’s supervisor. • Oversee the proper execution of installations and their compliance with plans, specifications, and applicable standards. • Ensure adherence to safety requirements and assist in preparing related documentation, such as RAMS, LMRA, and permits. Desired Profile • Bachelor’s (Bac+3) to Master’s degree in ICT, networking, electrical engineering, construction, or a related field. • Proven track record of successful on-site experience (ICT, electrical, telecom, or industrial construction). • Proactive, autonomous personality; capable of managing field operations and setting the pace of work. • Technical skills: fiber optics, cabling, cable trays, specialized systems. • English proficiency essential. • Willingness to travel to sites in Belgium, Denmark, Germany, and the Netherlands. Core Responsibilities

Coordinate field construction teams and technically monitor ICT, electrical, fire detection, and BMS installations on large-scale data center projects. Plan site activities, ensure materials and equipment are available, track progress and quality, coordinate stakeholders, and support compliance with plans, standards, and safety requirements.

Requirements

A bachelor’s to master’s degree in ICT, networking, electrical engineering, construction, or a related field is desired, along with successful on-site experience in ICT, electrical, telecom, or industrial construction. Candidates should be proactive and autonomous, have technical knowledge of fiber optics, cabling, cable trays, and specialized systems, speak English, and be willing to travel to project sites.
