Introduction 36 hours per week Start: 16-09-2026 End: 01-10-2027 ZZP is not allowed Good proficiency of Dutch language is a must Relocation is not possible You and your role As Senior Insights Data Scientist, you know the secrets of turning complex Transaction Monitoring data into actionable insights and production-ready solutions. Within Squad Metis, you combine advanced analytics, software development and business knowledge. You build automated solutions that help colleagues assess and optimise Transaction Monitoring rules and make better data-driven decisions. Practical examples - Develop analytical models and decision logic to identify which customer segments, parameters or rules should be prioritised for tuning. - Translate Above-the-Line and Below-the-Line tuning processes into data-driven recommendations and analytical solutions. - Build production-ready dashboards and decision-support tools that make complex insights accessible to stakeholders. Top 3 responsibilities - Build and improve analytical pipelines that automate rule tuning and support scalable multi-parameter analysis. - Deliver end-to-end analytical projects, from translating business questions to presenting clear recommendations to stakeholders. - Design and develop production-ready dashboards and analytical products for automated tuning and investigation workflows. - You work closely with stakeholders across Business, Technology and Operations. You and your talent - A master’s degree in a technical field. - More than 7 years of experience in data analysis using Python. - Experience with PySpark, Databricks and Power BI. - Experience building end-to-end solutions using repositories, version control, pipelines and testing frameworks. - The ability to uncover the real question behind a request and present your recommendations convincingly. - Experience guiding junior and mid-level colleagues and sharing your technical vision.

Core Responsibilities

Develop and improve analytical pipelines, models, and decision logic to automate Transaction Monitoring rule tuning and support scalable analysis. Deliver end-to-end analytical projects and production-ready dashboards and tools, presenting recommendations and collaborating with Business, Technology, and Operations stakeholders.

Requirements

A master’s degree in a technical field and more than seven years of Python-based data analysis experience are required, along with experience in PySpark, Databricks, Power BI, and end-to-end solution development. Candidates should be able to translate business questions into persuasive recommendations, guide colleagues, and communicate a technical vision; good proficiency in Dutch is also required.
