Where you come in: As a Software Engineer within our Solutions Team, you will be at the very forefront of Qblox's commercial success. While our core R&D builds the foundation of our deep tech stack, the Solutions Team is the high-velocity unit responsible for the final layer of adaptation needed for our customers. You will bridge the gap between our standard off-the-shelf products and the unique, bespoke requirements of scaling enterprise customers. Operating outside standard long-term R&D cycles, your mission is to rapidly develop, tailor, and deploy customized Python-based integrations that fulfill customers' demand and secure major strategic deals. You will work in a transdisciplinary "strike team," tackling high-impact projects with strict execution timelines. To maintain our standard of rapid delivery, you will heavily leverage advanced AI coding agents to accelerate development, debugging, and documentation. Overall we are looking for someone who gets truly excited by delivering tangible, immediate value to customers on a short-to-mid-term timescale. Architectural Design & Decision Making Gather and analyze complex market/customer requirements and design the optimal technical solution utilizing within Qblox ecosystem. Make critical, high-level decisions on how to most efficiently solve customer bottlenecks, determining whether a solution requires Python scripting, C/C++ embedded modifications, or FPGA adaptations. Create high-level execution plans, product requirements and architectural blueprints for the Solutions engineering team to build against. Cross-Functional Technical Leadership Act as the technical bridge between the Commercial team (understanding the deal) and the Solutions Team (executing the code). Collaborate tightly with the Quantum Application Engineer who will help bridge the gap regarding specific quantum physics use-cases. Oversee and follow the development process of the engineers to ensure technical execution aligns with the intended architecture and quality standards. Customer Integration & GTM Support Support discussions with strategic end-users during the critical phases of a deal to understand their unique modalities and existing IT/Hardware infrastructure. Ensure that the solutions designed not only solve the immediate customer problem but do so in a way that is robust, maintainable, and aligned with short-to-mid-term delivery goals. Enough about us, what about you? To really thrive in this fast-paced, highly demanding role, we anticipate that you will possess the following demonstrated skills: 8+ years of professional engineering experience with a proven track record as a System Architect, Solution Architect, or Senior Technical Lead in a complex hardware/software environment. Deep, comprehensive understanding of full-stack system architecture, spanning from low-level hardware interfaces and embedded C/C++ to high-level Python APIs. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly convert conceptual market requirements into concrete, actionable technical designs. A strong drive and excitement for delivering immediate, tangible value to customers on a short-to-mid-term timescale. Outstanding leadership and communication skills, capable of forging consensus and guiding developers without relying on heavy managerial friction. Note: Prior knowledge of Quantum Computing is considered a strong plus, but is not strictly mandatory, as you will partner closely with a QAE for domain-specific physics context. Ownership The overarching technical architecture and solution design for all Solutions Team customer integration projects. Conversion of Market Requirements into high-level technical blueprints and execution plans. The technical integrity and successful delivery of bespoke features.. Core Responsibilities

Lead the architecture and design of bespoke customer integrations, translating market requirements into technical blueprints and execution plans across Python, embedded C/C++, and FPGA solutions. Bridge commercial, quantum application, and engineering teams while guiding technical execution and supporting strategic customer discussions through delivery.

Requirements

Requires 8+ years of engineering experience as a system architect, solution architect, or senior technical lead in a complex hardware/software environment, with broad architectural knowledge from low-level hardware interfaces to high-level Python APIs. Candidates should demonstrate strong analytical, problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills; quantum computing knowledge is a plus but not mandatory.
