Are you ready to help redefine the future of relocation? Your mission As our Operations Intern, you will play a key role in improving and supporting our service processes and communication flow. You will rotate between two core teams within the Operations Department: The International Mobility Agent (IMA) Team, where you support international hires with day-to-day questions and ensure a smooth start in their new country; The Housing Team, where you gain hands-on experience with the housing search, documentation, and everything that comes with helping newcomers secure their first home. By experiencing both teams, you’ll develop a broad understanding of the relocation journey, from initial contact to the moment someone receives their keys. Your fresh perspective will be highly valued, and you will have room to propose improvements and contribute to ongoing process development. What you'll be doing Rotate between the International Mobility Agent team and the Housing team, supporting the day-to-day administrative and coordination tasks involved in the relocation process; Follow up regularly with international hires, colleagues, and external partners to collect missing information, confirm arrangements, and ensure relocation cases continue moving forward; Provide day-to-day support to international hires by answering questions, communicating updates, and helping them complete the required steps for their move; Assist with housing-related administration, including preparing and checking documentation, updating information, communicating with housing partners, and following up on outstanding requests; Keep track of multiple relocation and housing cases, monitor deadlines and pending actions, and make sure relevant parties receive timely reminders and updates; Work closely with colleagues across Operations to coordinate information, resolve routine issues, and ensure that internal and external communication is clear and up to date; Identify recurring issues or inefficiencies in daily processes, share observations with the team, and contribute to practical improvements where appropriate; Collaborate with colleagues from different teams and backgrounds while developing a strong understanding of the practical, people-focused nature of international relocation. Core Responsibilities
Rotate between the International Mobility Agent and Housing teams to support relocation cases, assist international hires, coordinate with colleagues and external partners, and manage housing documentation and follow-ups. Track deadlines and pending actions, keep communications current, and identify opportunities to improve daily processes.
Requirements
The role is intended for an ambitious HBO or WO student seeking a 5–6 month internship starting immediately. Applicants must be available full-time for 32–40 hours per week on-site in Amsterdam and be fluent in English.
