Are you a current or recently graduated ResMas Psychology student who is interested in nonverbal vocalisations like crying and laughing? Do you already have experience of empirical work in this research topic? Then this could be a position for you! Working at the UvA Join us! Nonverbal vocalization position This position is a one-year research assistant job to help with a range of research tasks relating to nonverbal vocalizations. It will involve administrative as well as research and literature-related tasks, and so is suitable for someone with experience in this field. A good salary Your salary will be determined on the basis of your experience and seniority, in accordance with the Labour agreement. Your grading and therefore the amounts mentioned are based on full employment of 38 hours per week. 232 vacation hours We also offer parental leave, partner leave and social engagement leave. Through the Employment Conditions Menu Card, there are opportunities for even more vacation hours. Financial arrangements On top of your salary, you receive holiday allowance (8%) and a year-end bonus (8.3%). You build up a good pension with ABP. Core Responsibilities

Provide administrative support for a large project on nonverbal vocalizations, including helping set up and run studies. Conduct literature-related work, including literature reviews on nonverbal vocalizations.

Requirements

Applicants must have previous experience working on nonverbal vocalizations and must have or be obtaining a master's degree in psychology. They should be conscientious, proactive, and able to manage multiple tasks while combining the part-time role with other work or studies.
