Then we would like to meet you! Who is AgXeed? AgXeed is a scale-up in the agricultural technology sector. We develop and produce autonomous agricultural vehicles, combined with a cloud-based planning platform. Our goal is to help farmers work more sustainably and efficiently by using smaller, smarter and more intelligent machines. To achieve this, we use modern technologies in robotics, autonomous systems, software development and cloud solutions. What will you do? As a Software Engineer Robotics (Perception), you will work on software that enables our autonomous vehicles to understand and interact with their environment. You will: Develop new features for our autonomous vehicles from concept to implementation Create and integrate software and algorithms for our autonomous vehicles Develop and improve perception-related functionality Test your software in simulation and, when needed, directly on our robots and tractors in the field Research existing technologies and solutions for new features Improve and maintain existing software Develop communication interfaces between different controllers and modules Deliver high-quality, maintainable software following proper development processes Work in an agile team and deliver continuously in an iterative way What are we looking for? You bring: A passion for robotics, technology and automation Strong C++ programming skills Experience with Linux and software development on Linux Strong analytical and system-thinking skills A creative, hands-on and problem-solving mindset Good communication skills and the ability to work in a team A Master’s degree in Robotics, Computer Science or a related technical field Good communication skills in Dutch and English; German is a plus Hands-on experience with mobile robot control is a plus What can you expect from AgXeed? Core Responsibilities

Develop and maintain software, algorithms, and perception features that help autonomous agricultural vehicles understand and interact with their environment. Test and integrate software in simulation and on vehicles in the field, develop communication interfaces between controllers and modules, and deliver maintainable software within an agile team.

Requirements

Applicants should have a Master's degree in Robotics, Computer Science, or a related technical field, strong C++ skills, and experience with Linux software development. The role also calls for analytical and problem-solving abilities, teamwork and communication skills, Dutch and English proficiency, and legal authorization to work in the Netherlands; mobile robot control experience is a plus.
