As a Department Manager, you will lead and develop the team responsible for electronic design and embedded software developments. This role will be responsible for providing technical leadership, driving team growth, and ensuring the successful delivery of multidisciplinary engineering projects. You will work closely with project teams and provide technical direction and support throughout development. The role combines combine strong expertise in electronic design and embedded software development with proven experience in people management, resource planning, and cross-functional collaboration As a key member of the engineering department, you will help shape the future structure, processes, and technical direction of the hardware and embedded systems team. Key Responsibilities Establish and develop the team responsible for electronic design and embedded software development Provide technical guidance and support to engineers in electronic design and embedded software development Oversee team performance and support the effective allocation of engineers across projects Oversee project development at a high level, ensuring alignment with technical objectives and project requirements Support project teams with technical guidance and decision-making where needed Coordinate collaboration between electronic design and embedded software teams Contribute to technical planning, priorities, and resource allocation across projects Support the development of engineering processes and ways of working within the team Requirements Bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering, Electronics, Computer Engineering, Embedded Systems, or a related technical field Experience in electronics, embedded software, or a related engineering field Previous experience in a technical leadership, team lead, or engineering management role Strong understanding of electronic design and embedded software development Experience working on multidisciplinary engineering projects Ability to understand technical challenges and support engineers in finding effective solutions Experience with project and resource planning Strong communication and collaboration skills Ability to balance technical priorities, team development, and project requirements Skills & Abilities Required Technical leadership and decision-making Team building and people development Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to manage priorities across multiple projects Clear and effective communication Collaborative and hands-on approach Ability to work independently and take ownership Strong organizational and planning skills Benefits About KRUSH Labs Based in Eindhoven, KRUSH Labs is a privately owned R&D, engineering, and prototyping center where multidisciplinary teams develop next-generation solutions in advanced hardware, embedded systems, wireless communication, sensing, autonomous technologies, AI, and software. Core Responsibilities

Establish and develop the electronic design and embedded software team, providing technical guidance and overseeing team performance and engineer allocation across projects. Guide high-level project development, coordinate collaboration between disciplines, and contribute to technical priorities, resource planning, and engineering processes.

Requirements

A bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering, electronics, computer engineering, embedded systems, or a related field is required, along with experience in an engineering field and prior technical leadership or engineering management. Candidates should have strong knowledge of electronic design and embedded software, multidisciplinary project experience, and skills in technical decision-making, resource planning, communication, and team development.
