Location: Netherlands (Rotterdam) – hybrid Employment type: Internship, 3 - 6 months Start date: October 2026 About After5 After5 is the go-to friendship platform for women. In just under 2.5 years we've grown fast — 15,000+ women have joined, we're active in 5 countries, and we've just launched our app. Now we're gearing up for our next phase. We have thousands of women joining After5 every month. About the team After5 started in Rotterdam with a simple frustration: making real friends as an adult shouldn't be this hard. Two founders set out to fix it, and an engineering founder joined to build the product that scales it. The team is small by design, you'll work directly with the founders, on real problems, from day one. About the role As our Operations, Community & Support Intern, you'll help run the experiences our members love and be a daily point of contact for our growing community. Two focus areas: Operations & Partnerships Scout, build, and manage partnerships to create the best experiences for our members Support the day-to-day operations of our events Community outreach across our markets Community & Customer Support Be in touch with our community via WhatsApp, Instagram, After5 App email, and other channels — with a focus on member support Community management: get deep into our community and connect with our Ambassadors Assist with last-minute changes and answer member questions Plus other associated tasks as we grow What we're looking for You get excited about building something BIG Agile, ambitious, and flexible — you enjoy wearing different hats You enjoy working directly with founders You have affinity with our concept and understand our target audience Background in business, marketing, or HORECA / hospitality is plus Comfortable using AI-powered tools for productivity and automation Fluent in English Practical details Minimum 25 hours/week Duration: 3-6 months, with the option to extend Start date: October Studying Bachelor Based in the Netherlands — ideally Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Utrecht, or Den Haag Hybrid: home office / shared spaces / remote You have your own laptop Able to travel to Rotterdam to work with the team Learn more Website: https://after-5.co/ Instagram: @after5co

Core Responsibilities

Scout, build, and manage partnerships; support the day-to-day operations of events and community outreach across After5’s markets. Communicate with members through WhatsApp, Instagram, the After5 app, email, and other channels, while supporting Ambassadors and handling member questions and last-minute changes.

Requirements

Applicants should be studying for a bachelor’s degree, be based in the Netherlands, fluent in English, and able to work at least 25 hours per week for 3–6 months starting in October 2026. They should be agile, ambitious, flexible, comfortable working directly with founders, interested in After5’s concept and audience, and comfortable using AI-powered productivity and automation tools; a background in business, marketing, or hospitality is a plus.
