Business Process Transformation Specialist – Logistics Amersfoort | Full-time The role As Business Process Transformation Specialist – Logistics you support Yokogawa's European logistics organization. You analyse operational challenges, develop and refine logistics procedures, and drive the change initiatives that strengthen logistics performance across the region. You are based in Amersfoort and will be a crucial part of the Logistics team. Where the work starts A process that works today but creates unnecessary effort. Teams in different countries doing the same thing in different ways. A procedure that no longer matches how the business, a regulation or a system actually operates. That is where you come in. You investigate the issue, find the root cause and use data to show what is really happening. You map the current and future process, assess the gap, weigh the options on value, cost and feasibility, and turn the outcome into a plan the logistics organization can execute. What you will do Analyse operational challenges in the logistics organization and identify root causes Develop and refine logistics procedures and keep them aligned with organizational strategy, compliance requirements and company policies Drive change initiatives that strengthen logistics performance across the region, from analysis through implementation Map AS-IS and TO-BE processes, assess gaps and recommend practical solutions Build the business case for improvements, including cost-benefit and ROI Plan and coordinate improvement projects with departments, suppliers and stakeholders: timelines, milestones, resources and progress reporting Identify risks to the projects you run and put mitigation in place Facilitate requirements sessions and stakeholder discussions Example initiative: creating synergy between local operating companies (business units) across Europe with regards to logistics activities and processes. This would entail an effort to investigate existing procedures, having online or face-to-face meetings with colleagues across different countries and alignments with internal experts from cross-functional departments to paint a picture of how they’re currently organizing their logistics; all these inputs will then be used to look for best practices, turned into clear processes, consistently implemented at different Yokogawa offices. What you bring Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or a related field At least 5 years of experience in logistics or supply chain management, including at least 2 years in a project management or process improvement role Experience coordinating project teams or workstreams A structured, analytical way of working: you get to the root cause and back it with data Process modelling and mapping skills Clear communication, comfortable facilitating discussions with stakeholders at different levels Organized, able to plan and deliver under deadlines Proficiency in project management tools Nice to have Experience with ERP and logistics systems, ideally [ERP system] Knowledge of international logistics and customs regulations Lean, Six Sigma, PMP or a similar certification How you work Curious and persistent. You keep an eye on the detail without losing the bigger picture, stay composed when things get complex, and measure yourself on the result for the business and its customers. You will see your analysis turn into procedures and ways of working that the European logistics organization actually uses. Core Responsibilities

Requirements

Requires a bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field, plus at least five years of logistics or supply chain experience, including two years in project management or process improvement. Candidates should bring analytical and process-mapping skills, experience coordinating teams, strong stakeholder communication and planning abilities, and proficiency with project management tools; ERP systems, customs knowledge, and relevant certifications are advantageous.
