EUR 500m funds under management - Sector-specialised teams for Technology and Healthcare, and stage-specialised teams for Venture & Growth and Growth & Buy-out. This position will be in the Venture & Growth Technology team - Strong reputation, good track record and a network of leading entrepreneurs, investors and industry-experts - Fun and entrepreneurial team of motivated professionals with diverse backgrounds - Focus on investment opportunities in Benelux and Germany - Our edge lies in creating deep value through hands-on founder servicing. We love to get our hands dirty - We have invested in (future) industry leaders such as Axual, Channext, ComplianceWise, Actuals, and Uman About your role - Embed yourself in the venture team by taking part in all stages of the investment process all the way from sourcing until portfolio management. Work is divided 50-50 between investment and founder servicing - Independently source attractive investment opportunities and screen inbound deal-flow - Perform in-depth due diligence on product, commercial, strategic and financial level - Build expertise through extensive market research in our target sectors and markets - Stress test unit economics and financial growth models - Assist in building deal structures and negotiating term sheets with inspiring founders - Support and work with our portfolio companies on topics such as internationalisation, scaling GTM, building out operational structures for fast scaling, boosting KPI-based steering, etc. Who we are looking for - You have 2 – 3 years of experience in investing, strategy consulting, startups / scale-ups or banking - You are an analytical, hands-on and pragmatic person with a proactive attitude - You have strong communication skills to articulate and underpin concepts, propositions and theses, both verbal and written, and are not afraid to have well-substantiated opinions - Ideally, you can assess markets and trends, you understand how to assess business models and business plans, you have an understanding of different commercial strategies when scaling a company and you have affinity with technology - You have an academic track record, likely with a degree in finance, economics, data science, engineering, or computer science - You are comfortable with AI platforms and Microsoft (Excel / PowerPoint / Word) - You are fluent in German and English What do we offer - Based in Amsterdam (preferred) or Dusseldorf you will have the opportunity to build a professional career at a renowned VC fund - A fast-paced working environment with challenges which let you grow day by day - Responsibility from the day one, involvement in all stages of a deal, within a non-hierarchical environment - Competitive salary - Work with and learn from a highly experienced team of both passionate and fun people - Delicious lunch, unlimited parties on our Holland Capital boat, a great ski trip, several yearly team-building events and free access to the gym Passionate about VC, entrepreneurship, and a fast-paced working environment? Core Responsibilities

Source and evaluate investment opportunities, conduct product, commercial, strategic, and financial due diligence, and support deal structuring and term sheet negotiations. Work with portfolio company founders on internationalization, go-to-market scaling, operational structures, and KPI-based management.

Requirements

Candidates should have 2–3 years of experience in investing, strategy consulting, startups or scale-ups, or banking, along with an analytical, hands-on, and proactive approach. A relevant academic background, technology affinity, comfort with AI platforms and Microsoft Office, and fluency in German and English are expected.
