About the Role As a Lead Software Engineer, you'll take ownership of software engineering activities from initial definition through engineering, realization, and final commissioning. You oversee quality, planning, and cost - ensuring the successful delivery of high-tech automation solutions. You'll work closely with Project Engineers and multidisciplinary teams to bring projects to life. Alongside external deliverables, you'll help build and refine internal standard software concepts, ensuring they are documented, scalable, and future-ready. Core Responsibilities
Lead software engineering across project phases, overseeing quality, planning, and budget while coordinating with multidisciplinary engineering teams. Develop and document scalable internal software standards and support commissioning of complex automation installations worldwide.
Requirements
Requires a bachelor's degree in Industrial Automation or Software Engineering and 3–6 years of experience developing and commissioning technically complex systems in a project-based organization. Candidates should have strong PLC software knowledge, organizational and planning skills, and willingness to travel internationally; robot software, EPLAN, and servo systems are advantageous.
