We’re looking for a senior, hands-on technical leader to take ownership of the next phase of Mintra AML. We’re building a unified compliance intelligence platform that helps financial institutions move from reactive compliance to proactive, continuous assurance through our core platform, RegShield. What you’ll own Technical ownership of the RegShield platform Architecture and development across backend, frontend, APIs, integrations and infrastructure Translating business and customer needs into scalable product solutions Technical quality, security, reliability and deployment The technical roadmap and future engineering setup Close collaboration with the founders on product and technology decisions What we’re looking for Strong full-stack software engineering experience Proven experience building and shipping production-grade products Strong backend, API and integration capabilities Experience with modern cloud-based SaaS architecture Sound judgment around scalability, security and maintainability Comfortable working hands-on, moving quickly and taking ownership Experience in fintech, regtech, AML/KYC or compliance is a strong advantage AI/LLM experience is a plus The opportunity This is initially a part-time, equity-led role, with meaningful equity structured around long-term contribution and vesting. As Mintra moves into its next stage of growth, our intention is for the role to transition into a full-time position with a competitive salary + equity package. Core Responsibilities

Own the technical direction and development of the RegShield platform across its architecture, backend, frontend, APIs, integrations, and infrastructure. Translate business and customer needs into scalable solutions while overseeing technical quality, security, reliability, deployment, and the engineering roadmap in collaboration with the founders.

Requirements

The role calls for strong full-stack engineering experience and a track record of building and shipping production-grade products, with particular strength in backend systems, APIs, integrations, and modern cloud-based SaaS architecture. Candidates should demonstrate sound judgment on scalability, security, and maintainability, and be comfortable working hands-on with ownership; fintech, regtech, AML/KYC, compliance, and AI/LLM experience are advantageous.
