Job Description

As Product Manager for Team ADP, you own the strategic vision and feature direction for our automated booking domain. With your expertise in product discovery and data-driven decision-making, you turn the challenge of automated invoice and financial-data processing into a genuine competitive advantage. Together with your Product Triad (Design, Tech and Product) you shape a roadmap that's valuable, usable, feasible, and viable. And you don't just ship features: you look for ways to move the metrics that matter. Time to grow. Time to thrive. We are Nmbrs. We build smart business software that removes unnecessary complexity for SMEs and the professionals who support them. Nmbrs brings together four established product organisations - Payroll, Accounting, Invoicing and Reporting - with teams across the Netherlands, Sweden and Portugal. We are one brand with a shared ambition, while continuing to work from the expertise and strengths of our individual organisations. We join forces where it makes sense, while keeping teams, expertise and decision-making close together. For this role, you'll join Nmbrs Accounting in Rotterdam, working closely with the colleagues in your local team while being part of the wider Nmbrs organisation. Your role As Product Manager for Team ADP, you own the strategic vision and core feature direction for our automated booking domain - with a focus on the automated processing of invoices and financial data. Team ADP is in an exciting transition: while your core focus is making financial data flow seamlessly, you'll also explore how AI, ML, and OCR turn data ingestion into a strategic advantage. You work in the Product Triad (Product, Design, Tech), acting as the commercial lead who defines the problem space - partnering with Design on the solution space, with Tech Leads on technical feasibility and scaling, and with our E2E Functional Analysts to translate high-level roadmaps into actionable specifications. You're also the shield for your development team, providing strategic context so engineers solve problems, not just tickets. In practice, you will focus on: Product vision & roadmap: Co-develop a compelling product vision with product leadership, tailored to entrepreneurs' financial needs, and translate it into a clear, prioritized, data-driven roadmap. Product discovery: Lead user interviews, market analysis, and prototype testing, and analyze usage data to validate problems, reduce risk, and ensure features deliver maximum user value. Outcome ownership: Shift focus from "shipping" to "moving metrics" — you're accountable for KPIs like North Star Metric growth, churn reduction, and automated processing rates. Backlog & requirements: Craft high-quality epics and detailed user stories with explicit constraints and acceptance criteria, and keep a well-prioritized backlog through agile ceremonies with your team. Cross-functional leadership & market intelligence: Act as the primary point of contact across customers, design, development, and go-to-market, while staying ahead of competitors and emerging FinTech/AI trends to keep Nmbrs Accounting a market leader in e-invoicing and automation. Your impact Your work determines whether Team ADP's automation actually reduces the daily friction entrepreneurs feel around invoices and bookkeeping. When you validate the right problem before a single line of code gets written, it means engineers spend their time solving something that matters - not building a feature nobody asked for. When automated processing rates go up, it's not just a KPI: it's hours entrepreneurs get back to run their business instead of their admin. You're also helping shape where Team ADP goes next: by exploring how AI, ML, and OCR can turn data ingestion into a genuine strategic advantage, your product decisions influence how competitive Nmbrs Accounting stays in e-invoicing and automation. You bring We're looking for a data-driven leader who can blend strategic thinking with precise execution. 5+ years of experience as a Product Owner/Manager, with proven experience managing a core product within a B2B or Enterprise SaaS environment. A deep understanding of product discovery (the SVPG mindset) and what distinguishes "Product Management" from "Project Management," combined with experience in Agile methodologies (Scrum). A proven ability to use both quantitative and qualitative data to drive decisions, prioritize the backlog, and define success metrics - comfortable with tools like Mixpanel/Pendo, Azure DevOps/Jira, or Notion. Fluent in English, spoken and written. Bonus points: Technical understanding - comfortable discussing architecture and technical trade-offs with developers (AI/ML experience is a major plus). Understanding of bookkeeping processes and e-invoicing. Dutch language skills. You don't need to tick every possible box. If you recognise yourself in the role and believe you can make an impact, we'd like to hear from you. What we offer Personal development: A generous training budget available from day one, for specialized certifications, strategy courses, data analytics training, and more, to solidify your expertise in SaaS/FinTech product leadership. Time off and flexibility: 28 vacation days (and the option to buy extra days), plus the possibility of Workation: up to 5 weeks per year of remote work. Well-being & focus: Access to lifestyle coaches, healthy lunches, and other initiatives that contribute to your well-being and focus, plus the ability to lease a bike via Lease-a-Bike. Financial security: A salary range of €4000 to €6000 gross per month (excl. holiday allowance), depending on your experience. With attractive benefits, including full pension coverage. Optimal workplace: The best hardware, including an Apple or Dell laptop, and a home-office budget to set up your remote workspace. Plenty of opportunities: Enjoy the speed and autonomy of an innovative software collective, backed by the stability, vast resources, and global career network of the Visma Group. Team & international culture: Participate in team-building days and other Nmbrs events that strengthen the close team spirit in a diverse and international environment. What does the application process look like? Apply: Apply now! We will contact you as soon as possible. Get to know us: Meet us through our Talent Acquisition Team. First interview: Take a deep dive with one of our Product Managers and Tech Lead. Prepare a short case study. Final interview: Discuss your case study with our CPO and finalize the process with our People & Culture manager Offer: If there's a match — you'll receive an offer!
