Job Description

The B2B Sales Manager UK & Ireland leads the regional B2B sales team, manages key client relationships and drives sales growth across the territory. The role combines team leadership, account management, showroom sales and operational coordination The B2B Sales Manager UK & Ireland is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day B2B sales operations across the assigned territory. The role focuses on managing key client relationships, driving sales orders, and ensuring the effective execution of showroom appointments and retail visits across the territory. This role manages a team of 2–3 Account Managers, guiding them through operational tasks such as client meetings, order processing, and supporting sales in B2B contexts. The manager ensures that the team meets sales targets for UK & Ireland, that client needs are addressed, and that all sales processes are aligned with internal departments such as logistics and merchandising. Key Responsibility Areas Team Management & Support Lead and manage a team of 2–3 Account Managers, offering daily guidance, coaching, and operational support across the UK & Ireland markets. Oversee the coordination of showroom appointments in assigned territory (e.g. main showrooms, key cities), ensuring all Account Managers are aligned with schedules, brand presentation, and collection priorities. Regularly review the team’s client visit reports and offer feedback on client engagement, commercial opportunities, and sales tactics tailored to the UK & Ireland market. Ensure that the team follows up with clients after showroom visits and market appointments to confirm sales orders and resolve any outstanding issues. Sales & Retailer Engagement Oversee the organization and execution of showroom appointments for customers, ensuring products are displayed according to brand guidelines and local market needs. Personally engage in high-value showroom and key account appointments, focusing on securing strategic partners and driving sales growth within territory. Visit retail partners regularly across territory to build relationships, assess product performance, and identify opportunities for further collaboration and door expansion. Create sales forecasts for UK & Ireland (split for preorder and annual targets), in line with brand and financial objectives. Create planning for sales and continuity in NOS (replenishment) for UK & Ireland accounts. Manage returns in line with company policies, balancing commercial needs and brand positioning. Support Account Managers in preparing for client visits by reviewing customer data, past orders, sell-out performance and upcoming collection details. Client Relationship Management Maintain close relationships with key UK & Ireland B2B clients (multibrand, key accounts, agents/distributors where applicable), ensuring ongoing satisfaction through regular visits, follow-ups and tailored service. Lead annual contract and terms discussions with retailers, including yearly evaluation conversations. Resolve escalated client issues related to orders, deliveries or product availability, providing prompt and effective solutions in collaboration with internal teams. Communicate product updates, new collections and promotional offers to key retail partners, ensuring they are engaged in upcoming campaigns and seasonal launches. Support the team in presenting seasonal collections during showroom appointments, regional fairs or trade events, helping to convert interest into confirmed orders. Order Fulfillment & Process Management Ensure timely and accurate order processing for client’s post-showroom appointments, coordinating closely with supply chain and logistics teams. Review sales orders entered by the team, ensuring that all client specifications, quantities, discounts and timelines are correctly logged in the system. Coordinate with the merchandising team to maintain appropriate stock levels and assortments for specific territory B2B clients. Manage any delivery issues or discrepancies for UK & Ireland accounts, working with logistics to track shipments, resolve customs or transport issues if any, and communicate delays to clients. Retail Partner Visits & Trade Shows: Organize and attend visits to retail partners throughout specific territory, ensuring optimal product placement, identifying additional sales opportunities and collecting structured market feedback. Represent the company at relevant trade shows or industry events that impact the UK & Ireland market, meeting potential clients and strengthening relationships with existing partners. Track competitor activity and report on market trends in UK & Ireland, based on feedback gathered during client visits and trade events. Sales Reporting & Administrative Support: Monitor daily and weekly sales activities in UK & Ireland, including showroom performance, order intake and delivery status, and generate regular reports on sales targets, client engagement and pipeline. Ensure the team updates CRM systems after every client interaction, capturing client feedback, sales orders and key meeting outcomes. Manage administrative tasks related to sales events, order processing and database management for specific territory, ensuring operational efficiency and data accuracy. Compile post-season reports for the UK & Ireland market, analyzing sales performance, product mix, showroom success and client feedback to inform future sales strategies. Operational Efficiency & Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve sales processes within UK & Ireland, particularly related to showroom scheduling, client communication and order management. Streamline workflows between Account Managers, customer service and logistics to ensure efficient order fulfillment and accurate invoicing. Regularly review sales KPIs for UK & Ireland, adjusting team focus, customer prioritization and workflows as needed to ensure operational and commercial goals are met. Team Development & Training Provide training and coaching on sales tactics, showroom presentation skills and the specifics of the UK & Ireland fashion retail environment to Account Managers. Ensure the team is up to date on the latest collections, brand initiatives, seasonal promotions and any market-specific programs. Foster a collaborative and customer-focused environment within the sales team, encouraging open communication, sharing of best practices and solution-oriented thinking. Education/Experience Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing or a related field is preferred. Minimum of 7 years of relevant B2B sales experience, ideally in fashion or retail, with at least 2 years of managing a team. Proven experience managing client relationships and driving B2B sales within a multi-country territory, preferably UK & Ireland. Experience coordinating showroom appointments and executing successful retail partner visits. Demonstrated ability to manage the operational side of sales, including order processing, logistics coordination and CRM system management. Fluency in English required. Key Skills Showroom Sales & Presentation: Experience presenting fashion collections during showroom appointments and trade shows, with the ability to influence client decisions. Order Management & Fulfillment: Proficiency in managing the end-to-end sales process, from order entry to delivery, ensuring accuracy and timely fulfillment. CRM & Sales Tools: Competence in using CRM systems and sales tools to manage client interactions, track orders and generate reports on sales performance. Time & Territory Management: Ability to manage travel, client visits and showroom coordination across the territory while meeting deadlines. Negotiation & Communication: Strong negotiation skills for managing client conditions, resolving operational issues and strengthening retail partnerships. Reporting & Analytics: Ability to generate and analyze sales reports to track team performance, client engagement and operational efficiency within the scope.

Requirements

A bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field is preferred, along with at least 7 years of relevant B2B sales experience and at least 2 years of team management experience. Candidates should have experience managing multi-country client relationships, showroom appointments, retail visits, sales operations, order processing, logistics coordination, and CRM systems; fluency in English is required.
