MAIN Responsibilities As IT Support Engineer, you will be responsible for the reliable operation of ICT services and provide day-to-day support to users in Schiedam. You will be part of a dynamic environment where no two days are the same, supporting both office-based and international users. Ensure the proper functioning of ICT services within the Schiedam office; Provide timely and professional support to end users; Incorporate Jumbo’s safety culture and policies into daily activities; Maintain and improve ICT documentation, processes, procedures and configuration information; Act as the operational point of contact for external IT service providers and vendors; Identify opportunities to improve existing systems, processes and working methods and provide recommendations; Provisioning, maintaining and supporting workplace equipment such as laptops, docking stations, monitors and peripherals; Performing technical onboarding and offboarding of employees; Maintaining accurate CMDB registrations and asset administration; Managing IT equipment inventory and lifecycle processes; Administering telephony systems and user accounts; Maintaining and supporting video conferencing equipment and meeting room technology; Providing regular updates to users and stakeholders regarding support requests and incidents.
