It is only with a dedicated staff we are able to meet and exceed our customers’ expectations by picking, packing and shipping approximately 1.2 million books daily to customers around the world. Job Description We have immediate openings for Light Picker/Packers on 1st shift. Monday - Friday 7:00 am - 3:00 pm. $16.00/hr. Full benefits effective your first day of employment. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Pick and pack customer book orders using a variety of methods Process customer book returns in a variety of ways Using a computer and/or hand-held radio frequency (RF) equipment Full-time employees are eligible for our comprehensive benefits program. Qualifications Requires basic reading and math skills Must be able to push, pull, bend, stoop, reach and lift up to 25 lbs. on a regular basis and occasionally up to 35 lbs. Must be able to stand for an entire shift (minimal breaks provided) Must be able to climb stairs and be comfortable working on an upper mezzanine level Must follow all safety rules and work well in a team-orientated environment Must possess the flexibility to work in other areas based on business needs Minimum age requirement is 16 Good verbal and written communication skills Ability to maintain good overall safety and attendance record Work well in a team-orientated environment Must adhere to all established safety and precaution measures. Core Responsibilities

Pick and pack customer book orders using various methods, and process book returns. Use computers and handheld radio frequency equipment while following safety procedures and assisting in other departments as business needs require.

Requirements

Requires basic reading and math skills, good verbal and written communication, teamwork, and flexibility to work in other areas. Must be able to stand for a full shift, climb stairs, and regularly lift, push, pull, bend, stoop, and reach, including lifting up to 25 pounds regularly and 35 pounds occasionally.
