The Advisory team is seeking a Senior Manager, Talent Attraction, to lead talent attraction strategy and delivery for Advisory (Risk Services and Deal Advisory). Reporting to the Director, Talent Attraction, this role will partner with senior business and HR leaders to deliver exceptional talent hiring results. The successful candidate will bring deep recruitment expertise, strong people leadership, and sound judgment in complex, specialized hiring. Success will require the ability to build trust, navigate competing priorities and influence senior stakeholders while guiding a team to deliver exceptional talent solutions.


What you will do

  • Drive Advisory Talent Attraction strategy:  develop, execute, and refine the talent attraction strategy for Advisory aligned to business priorities and future workforce needs.
  • Stakeholder leadership & partnership: Act as a trusted talent advisor to senior business and HR leaders. Build credibility across a complex, matrixed stakeholder environment; navigate competing priorities; and influence decisions to create alignment and practical recruitment solutions.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Use data and analytics to inform recruitment priorities, reporting, and actionable insights for stakeholders.
  • Team Leadership: Inspire, empower, and manage a team of recruiters, fostering a high-performance culture and supporting professional development.
  • Recruitment Compliance: Lead and manage compliance for all recruitment activities and job postings, ensuring adherence to local laws and firm policies.
  • Strategic Problem Solving: Triage recruitment challenges, develop creative solutions, and drive continuous improvement in processes and outcomes by leveraging technology, including automation and AI.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with the Director, Talent Attraction, other Talent Attraction and HR leaders, and Centers of Excellence (ie. Workforce Mobility, ID&E, Total Rewards) to align stakeholders and drive consistent execution of talent priorities.
  • Inclusive and Diverse Approach: Serve as a strategic talent advisor to hiring managers by integrating Inclusion, Diversity & Equity (IDE) best practices and partnering with our Centers of Excellence (COEs) to develop inclusive talent attraction strategies that support equal opportunity and engagement with underrepresented communities.
  • Strategic Senior Hiring: Partner with senior Advisory leaders on critical and senior-level hiring, providing strategic, high-touch support to hiring teams while delivering a seamless candidate experience.

What you bring to the role

  • 10+ years of recruitment experience, ideally within professional services supporting complex or specialized talent;
  • Demonstrated success developing and implementing national recruitment or talent attraction strategies across business lines or specialized practices.
  • Proven people leadership skills, with experience managing and developing high-performing teams.
  • Strong business acumen and demonstrated ability to build credibility with senior leaders, navigate ambiguity and competing priorities, and influence across a complex, matrixed organization.
  • Experience in managing compliance requirements with a business and candidate lens in mind.
  • Strong analytical skills and a data-curious mindset, with the ability to provide meaningful insights to senior leaders.
  • Exceptional communication, diplomacy, and negotiation skills, including the ability to challenge constructively, manage sensitive issues, and create stakeholder alignment.
  • Experience advising and coaching executive-level hiring managers on complex talent decisions.
  • Strong track record of building trusted stakeholder relationships and translating varied business perspectives into actionable talent strategies.
  • Excellent sourcing skills leveraging LinkedIn and Boolean search techniques.
  • Written and oral fluency in both English and French is required to support KPMG nationally and communicate effectively with business leaders, and candidates in both languages.

KPMG NB Region Pay Range Information   

The expected base salary range for this position is $106,500–$156,500 and may be eligible for bonus awards. The determination of an applicant’s base salary within this range is based on the individual’s location, skills & competencies, and unique qualifications. In addition, KPMG offers a comprehensive and competitive Total Rewards program. 

 

KPMG BC Region Pay Range Information   

The expected base salary range for this position is $106,500–$156,500 and may be eligible for bonus awards. The determination of an applicant’s base salary within this range is based on the individual’s location, skills & competencies, and unique qualifications. In addition, KPMG offers a comprehensive and competitive Total Rewards program. 

 

KPMG Ontario Region Pay Range Information

The expected base salary range for this position is $106,500–$156,500 and may be eligible for bonus awards.
