Business Process Transformation Specialist – Logistics Amersfoort | Full-time The role As Business Process Transformation Specialist – Logistics you support Yokogawa's European logistics organization. You analyse operational challenges, develop and refine logistics procedures, and drive the change initiatives that strengthen logistics performance across the region. You are based in Amersfoort, part of the [team name], report to the [reporting line title] and travel regularly to Yokogawa locations in Europe. Where the work starts Yokogawa has local operating companies across Europe, and each of them organizes its logistics in its own way. One of the first initiatives you pick up is to create synergy between them. That starts with understanding how logistics is organized today: studying local procedures, talking to colleagues in different countries, online and face to face, and aligning with internal experts from cross-functional departments until you have a clear picture of each location. From those inputs you identify the best practices, turn them into process descriptions and implement them at the different locations, together with the stakeholders who will have to work with them. That is the pattern for the role. Investigate how things really work, find the root cause, weigh the options on value, cost and feasibility, and turn the outcome into a plan the logistics organization can execute. What you will do Analyse operational challenges in the logistics organization and identify root causes Develop and refine logistics procedures and keep them aligned with organizational strategy, compliance requirements and company policies Drive change initiatives that strengthen logistics performance across the region, from analysis through implementation Map AS-IS and TO-BE processes, assess gaps and recommend practical solutions Build the business case for improvements, including cost-benefit and ROI Plan and coordinate improvement projects with departments, suppliers and stakeholders: timelines, milestones, resources and progress reporting Identify risks to the projects you run and put mitigation in place Facilitate requirements sessions and stakeholder discussions What you bring Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or a related field At least 5 years of experience in logistics or supply chain management, including at least 2 years in a project management or process improvement role Experience coordinating project teams or workstreams A structured, analytical way of working: you get to the root cause and back it with data Process modelling and mapping skills Clear communication, comfortable facilitating discussions with stakeholders at different levels and in different countries Organized, able to plan and deliver under deadlines Proficiency in project management tools Nice to have Experience with ERP and logistics systems, ideally [ERP system] Knowledge of international logistics and customs regulations Lean, Six Sigma, PMP or a similar certification How you work Curious and persistent. You keep an eye on the detail without losing the bigger picture, stay composed when things get complex, and measure yourself on the result for the business and its customers. Requirements
