Job Description

Numbers tell a story. As a Financial Administrator at FYRON, you make sure that story is accurate, complete and up to date. You will be part of our Finance team, reporting directly to the CFO and working closely with the rest of the team (Financial Controller, Assistant Financial Controller and another Financial Administrator). Your role is broad: from processing purchase and sales invoices to debtor management, bank transactions, payment batches and intercompany reconciliations. But this role is about more than processing transactions. You look at what is behind the numbers. Does an invoice make sense? Is something missing? Does a transaction look unusual? You are not afraid to ask questions and make sure things are right before they move on. Why Finance at FYRON? With our strong growth, multiple brands and international footprint, there's always something happening in Finance — and plenty to keep you busy: Several in-house brands, operating nationally and internationally, with a diverse Dutch and international team Both large key accounts and direct consumers A mix of retail and e-commerce, sourcing from within and outside Europe Multiple currencies and entities across different countries Broad financial exposure — from invoicing and payments to accounts receivable, intercompany and month-end close Plenty of room to shape and improve processes as we grow What will you do Keep our financial administration accurate, complete and up to date, including sales and purchase invoices, expense claims and bank transactions. Prepare payment batches, including international payments, in line with our FX hedging strategy, and process financial transactions from FYRON’s various webshops. Monitor outstanding balances, follow up on receivables and maintain intercompany reconciliations. Review transactions critically, investigate discrepancies and make sure supporting documentation is complete and correct. Support month-end closing, financial reporting and the preparation of financial information when needed. Be the first point of contact for financial administrative questions and help colleagues understand financial processes and requirements. Work with colleagues across FYRON to resolve discrepancies and ensure accurate processing. Identify opportunities to improve financial processes, controls and efficiency, and contribute to the further development of our ERP environment. Support financial and administrative projects when needed. You are precise and structured, but you are also curious about what is behind the numbers. You like getting into the details, while keeping an overview of what needs to be done. You bring: Several years of relevant experience in financial administration Hands-on experience with purchase invoices, sales invoicing, accounts receivable and/or intercompany reconciliations MBO 4 level in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or a related field, or equivalent experience. Experience with an ERP system; NetSuite experience is a plus Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel Experience in an international organization is an advantage Fluent in both Dutch and English Sharp attention to detail and a high level of accuracy A critical, analytical mindset — you don't just process information, you question it Strong organizational skills and the ability to juggle multiple deadlines The confidence to ask questions and get to the bottom of things A hands-on, solution-oriented attitude — you spot what needs fixing and take care of it Comfortable working independently while being a strong team player Above all, you take ownership of your work. People can rely on you to see things through, and you understand that accuracy, confidentiality and integrity are essential when handling financial information. At FYRON, you will join a Finance team that is building and improving as the company continues to grow. You will have plenty of responsibility and room to contribute, not just to the daily financial administration but also to how we work and improve as a team. Here’s what you can expect: A broad Financial Administrator role with plenty of variety and responsibility A gross monthly salary between €3,400 and €4,400, based on a full-time position The opportunity to make a direct contribution to a growing international organization Room to improve how we work, not just follow existing process A hands-on environment with short lines of communication Close collaboration across Finance and the wider FYRON organization An open, informal culture where questions are encouraged Haarlem as your home base, with hybrid working in line with our policy Part-time (minimum 32 hours) or full-time And of course, you will be working with colleagues who are building FYRON together, guided by Collective, Excellence, Entrepreneurship, Diversity & Inclusion and Integrity. Does this sound like a role that fits you? We would love to hear from you. Please apply through our online application form with your CV and a short motivation.
