Job Description
GSM is seeking a proactive and people-oriented Senior Driver Learning & Engagement Specialist to support the development of driver capability, engagement, and communications across the Netherlands market. This role will be responsible for designing, coordinating, and executing driver training, engagement activities, and communication initiatives to ensure a positive and consistent driver experience throughout the driver lifecycle. Working closely with Operations, HR, Recruitment, and local leadership teams, the Senior Specialist will help improve driver performance, satisfaction, retention, and alignment with GSM's service standards and company culture. Key Responsibilities 1. Driver Learning & Development Deliver driver onboarding, refresher training, compliance, safety, and service quality programs. Develop and continuously improve training materials, learning content, and facilitator guides. Monitor training completion, attendance, knowledge retention, and program effectiveness. Partner with Operations teams to identify driver performance gaps and recommend appropriate learning interventions. Maintain accurate training records and ensure compliance with company requirements. Support the evaluation and implementation of learning tools, methodologies, and best practices. Facilitate both classroom and virtual training sessions when required. 2. Driver Engagement & Experience Plan and execute driver engagement initiatives, recognition programs, events, and community-building activities. Drive monthly and quarterly engagement plans aimed at improving driver satisfaction and retention. Gather and analyze driver feedback through surveys, focus groups, workshops, and engagement channels. Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to address key driver concerns and improve the overall driver experience. Promote GSM culture, values, and service standards within the driver community. Identify opportunities to strengthen driver engagement throughout the entire driver lifecycle. 3. Driver Communications Manage and coordinate driver communications through approved channels. Prepare and distribute operational updates, policy changes, training communications, and engagement campaigns. Ensure drivers receive timely, accurate, and consistent information regarding company initiatives and operational requirements. Support the management and continuous improvement of driver communication platforms and communities. Monitor driver feedback and communication effectiveness, providing recommendations for improvement. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Education, Communications, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in Learning & Development, Training, Employee/Driver Engagement, Internal Communications, Operations Excellence, Customer Experience, or related functions. Proven experience designing and delivering training programs for large frontline workforces. Strong facilitation, presentation, and stakeholder management skills. Ability to influence stakeholders without direct authority. Experience managing multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment. Data-driven mindset with the ability to measure and evaluate program effectiveness. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Ability to build trust and maintain strong relationships with drivers and frontline employees. Experience in mobility, transportation, ride-hailing, logistics, hospitality, or operational environments is highly preferred. Fluent in Dutch and English required.

Requirements
Candidates must hold a bachelor's degree in a relevant field and possess at least 5 years of experience in learning, development, or engagement roles. Proficiency in both English and Dutch is required, along with strong facilitation and stakeholder management skills.
