As our Warehouse Operations Manager, you’ll take ownership of the day-to-day warehouse operation, lead and develop our warehouse leadership team, and continuously look for smarter ways to get thousands of customer orders out the door accurately, efficiently and on time. You’ll move between the warehouse floor and the office, staying connected to daily operations while also focusing on the bigger picture. You’ll combine a visible presence on the warehouse floor with leadership, planning and performance improvement. Working closely with your warehouse team, executive management and other departments, you’ll keep operations running smoothly while continuously looking for ways to improve. What you will do · Lead and coach the warehouse leadership team, set clear responsibilities and support recruitment, onboarding, training and performance reviews in collaboration with HR. · Oversee inbound deliveries, put-away, storage, replenishment, picking, packing, dispatch and warehouse returns handling. · Set staffing and capacity requirements in line with forecast demand, promotional peaks and labour budgets; oversee the warehouse planner and review plans against service and productivity targets. · Agree operational KPIs with management and review results regularly, including on-time dispatch, order accuracy, productivity, fulfilment cost per order and inventory accuracy. · Manage labour and warehouse operating costs within agreed budgets while maintaining service quality and safe working practices. · Maintain accurate inventory through cycle counts, discrepancy investigation, stock rotation and appropriate handling of expiry dates, damaged products and returns. · Improve warehouse layouts, workflows and WMS use; document clear operating procedures and ensure they are consistently followed. · Maintain a safe, organised warehouse, coordinate equipment training, inspections and maintenance, and resolve operational disruptions with IT and service partners. · Work with Purchasing, Customer Service, Marketing and carriers to coordinate incoming stock, promotional demand and dispatch commitments. What you bring · At least four years of warehouse leadership experience, including responsibility for supervisors or shift leaders. · Experience in high-volume ecommerce/retail fulfilment, including individual-item picking, packing, dispatch deadlines and peak demand. · A proven record of improving warehouse performance, supported by examples of measurable results. · Strong people-management and communication skills and the ability to give clear feedback, develop team leaders and make sound decisions under pressure. · Practical experience with warehouse management systems and confidence using Excel or Google Sheets to analyse performance and capacity. · Professional fluency in English. Dutch is an advantage, but not required. · A degree in logistics, supply chain management or a related field is an advantage, as are warehouse automation and structured continuous-improvement experience. Equivalent practical expertise is equally welcome. What we offer · A gross monthly base salary of EUR 5,000-EUR 6,500, depending on relevant experience. · A performance-based bonus linked to clearly defined operational and leadership objectives agreed in advance. · 25 days Holiday allowance with the option to purchase up to 4 additional holiday days per year (based on a 40-hour p/week), travel reimbursement and an 40% employee discount. · Ownership of the warehouse operation, with scope to develop the team and improve how we work. · Full-time, on-site work in Eindhoven, with daytime hours Monday to Friday.
