MARINE BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER, EUROPE Join Ultralon Foam Europe and help accelerate the growth of U-DEK® across Europe Location Netherlands preferred, hybrid possible Territory EMEA, strong focus in Europe Employment Full time, permanent The opportunity Ultralon Foam Europe is entering its next phase of growth and is looking for an experienced Marine Business Development Manager to accelerate our commercial development across Europe. Reporting directly to the Business Unit Manager, this is a highly external, customer facing role focused on generating new business, opening markets and developing long term relationships across the European marine industry. You will represent the Ultralon and U-DEK® brands across Europe and play an important role in expanding our customer base and commercial network. What you will be responsible for · Identify, approach and convert new marine customers. · Build and maintain a strong qualified sales pipeline. · Develop relationships with OEM boat manufacturers, fabricators, installers and other marine professionals. · Conduct regular customer visits throughout Europe. · Prepare commercial proposals and quotations. · Support negotiations and customer conversion. · Identify new territories and market opportunities. · Provide market and competitor intelligence. · Develop long-term relationships with key decision makers. · Work closely with the Business Unit Manager to prioritise markets, customers and commercial opportunities. Ultralon participates in multiple marine trade shows throughout Europe. You will be expected to actively participate in these events, engage with customers and prospects, and follow up generated opportunities. You will also visit relevant industry exhibitions where Ultralon is not exhibiting, using these events to understand market developments, identify opportunities and establish contact with key players across the marine industry. A significant amount of European travel should be expected, particularly during the first 12 months. What we are looking for · 3 to 5 years or more of relevant marine industry experience. · Proven business development or technical sales experience. · A demonstrated ability to generate and convert new business. · Strong commercial judgement and negotiation capability. · Confidence approaching new customers and establishing new relationships. · The ability to work independently across multiple European markets. · Excellent communication and presentation skills. · Professional command of English. · Direct marine OEM sales experience. · An established network within the European marine OEM industry. · Willingness to travel extensively throughout Europe. Nice to have · German and/or Italia language skills. · Additional European languages. · Knowledge of marine decking or related technical products. Core Responsibilities

Generate and convert new marine business across Europe by developing customer relationships, managing a qualified sales pipeline, preparing proposals, and supporting negotiations. Identify new markets and opportunities, provide market intelligence, and represent Ultralon and U-DEK® at customer visits and industry events.

Requirements

Candidates should have at least 3–5 years of relevant marine industry experience, proven business development or technical sales experience, and a track record of generating new business. Direct marine OEM sales experience, an established European marine OEM network, strong commercial and communication skills, professional English, and willingness to travel extensively are required; German, Italian, other European languages, and marine decking knowledge are advantageous.
