Introduction to the job As a Treasury controller, you contribute to the execution and continuous enhancement of ASML's global treasury control framework, supporting the accounting and reporting of complex treasury activities including derivatives, foreign exchange, financing transactions, investments and cash management activities. You combine strong accounting expertise with a continuous improvement mindset and actively identify opportunities to standardize, automate and strengthen treasury processes and controls. Working in a global and highly dynamic environment, you help ensure that ASML's treasury operations remain compliant, efficient and scalable while supporting the company's continued growth and transformation. Role and responsibilities As a Treasury controller, you will be part of the Tax & Treasury Finance Operations team within ASML Business Services (ABS) in Veldhoven, The Netherlands. In this role, you are responsible for safeguarding the integrity of ASML's treasury accounting, reporting and control environment. You act as a key link between Treasury, Accounting Expert Advisory, Country Finance, Internal Control and external auditors to ensure treasury activities are accurately recorded, compliant with applicable regulations and supported by effective controls. Your responsibilities include: Execute treasury accounting and reporting activities for monthly, quarterly and annual closing processes, ensuring accurate group consolidation and financial reporting Ensure accurate accounting and valuation of treasury transactions, including cash, foreign exchange, derivatives, debt instruments, investments and hedge accounting relationships Execute and continuously improve treasury internal controls, including SOx controls, ensuring a robust and compliant control environment Monitor compliance with Treasury Policies and financial reporting requirements, supporting the identification, escalation and remediation of control deficiencies and policy deviations Partner closely with Corporate Treasury, Accounting Experts, Country Finance and other stakeholders to ensure accurate reporting and effective end-to-end treasury processes Analyze treasury-related P&L, balance sheet and cash flow movements and provide insights to management and key stakeholders Contribute to treasury transformation projects and strategic initiatives, supporting ASML's ambition to achieve world-class Treasury and Finance Operations Education and experience To help us achieve our mission, you should have: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in accounting, finance, economics or business administration Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, financial control, treasury or audit Experience in an international corporate environment; Big Four audit experience is considered a plus Knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS, preferably with exposure to financial instruments and hedge accounting Experience with internal controls and SOx-compliant processes Experience with process improvement, automation or finance transformation initiatives Experience with SAP; familiarity with Treasury Management Systems (e.g., IT2) is considered a strong advantage Skills To thrive in this role, you are curious, analytical, detail-oriented and able to balance operational execution with continuous improvement. Requirements

Requires a bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting, finance, economics, or business administration and at least five years of relevant finance, accounting, treasury, financial control, or audit experience. Candidates should have knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS, internal controls and SOX processes, and experience with SAP; English fluency is required, while Big Four audit experience and Treasury Management System familiarity are advantages.
