As an Android Developer, you’ll play a key role in how fans discover, buy, and experience events on mobile. What You’ll Do You’ll join a cross-functional product team where engineers, product managers, and designers work closely together. You’ll take ownership, move fast, and help shape the mobile experience end-to-end. Your impact: Build and improve features across our Android app used by millions of fans Collaborate closely with backend, web, and mobile engineers in a cross-functional squad Take ownership of features from idea to release and iteration Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code Contribute to architectural decisions and continuously improve the codebase Balance speed and quality to deliver value without over-engineering Work with data and experimentation to improve user experience Partner with product and design to create intuitive, high-quality user journeys Share knowledge and learnings within the Android and mobile guild Stay up to date with new technologies and bring ideas to improve how we work Contribute to a culture of ownership, curiosity, and continuous improvement Our tech stack includes: Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, GraphQL, Firebase, GitHub, Sentry, Lokalise and standard testing frameworks such as Espresso and JUnit. We continuously evolve our stack to stay effective and up to date. About you We’re looking for someone who enjoys building great products and takes pride in their craft. You have solid experience building Android applications with Kotlin You are pragmatic, but you know the theory too You know when to move fast and when to focus on quality and detail You enjoy solving real user problems with simple, thoughtful solutions You’re comfortable working in cross-functional teams (Agile/Scrum) You communicate clearly and collaborate easily with non-engineers You’re curious and open to learning — both technically and on the product side You take ownership and like seeing your work make a real impact Experience with A/B testing, experimentation, or analytics tools is a plus You use AI in your everyday job, or you used it on some personal project Interest in product metrics or growth is a bonus Why You’ll Love It Here You’ll be part of a team that cares deeply about the product, each other, and the fans we serve. Practical Details Location: Amsterdam (hybrid setup) Full-time role No relocation support provided This role sits within Function Group 7 or 8, depending on experience and seniority level. Core Responsibilities

Requirements

Candidates should have solid experience building Android applications with Kotlin, a pragmatic approach to balancing speed and quality, and the ability to solve user problems with thoughtful solutions. They should communicate clearly and collaborate in cross-functional Agile/Scrum teams; experience with experimentation or analytics is a plus, and familiarity with AI use is noted.
