Your Role As a Process Equipment Engineer, you are the technical lead responsible for the successful delivery of both standard and custom-designed process equipment used in the production of radiopharmaceuticals. You will oversee the complete equipment lifecycle, from concept and specification through procurement, qualification, operation, and continuous improvement. You will work in a unique high-tech environment where nuclear technology, pharmaceutical manufacturing, and GMP compliance come together. Collaboration is key, as you will partner closely with colleagues from Process Development, Production, Engineering, Maintenance, Quality, and external suppliers to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient manufacturing operations. Key Responsibilities: Lead the specification, design, procurement, implementation, qualification, and optimization of process equipment. Translate process, scientific, operational, and business requirements into robust and GMP-compliant equipment solutions. Develop URS for new and modified equipment. Support supplier selection, procurement activities, and supplier relationship management. Coordinate FAT, SAT, commissioning, qualification, and validation activities. Manage equipment-related changes through the MoC process. Ensure compliance with GMP requirements, engineering standards, and radiological safety regulations. Act as the subject matter expert for troubleshooting and continuous improvement of equipment performance, reliability, maintainability, and operational efficiency. What You Bring You combine strong technical expertise with a structured and solution-oriented approach. You are comfortable coordinating multiple stakeholders and enjoy working in a dynamic environment where innovation and compliance go hand in hand. Requirements: Bachelor's or master's degree in mechanical engineering, chemical engineering, Process Engineering, Pharmaceutical Engineering, or related discipline. Minimum of 7 years of experience in a GMP-regulated production environment. Proven experience specifying, procuring, and implementing both standard and custom-engineered process equipment. Experience with GMP commissioning and qualification activities, including IQ, OQ, and PQ. Solid understanding of GMP requirements and engineering lifecycle management. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Fluent in English. Dutch language skills are an advantage. Core Responsibilities

Lead the specification, design, procurement, implementation, qualification, and optimization of standard and custom process equipment for radiopharmaceutical production. Coordinate suppliers and internal stakeholders while ensuring GMP, engineering, and radiological safety compliance, and drive equipment reliability and continuous improvement.

Requirements

A bachelor's or master's degree in mechanical, chemical, process, pharmaceutical engineering, or a related discipline is required, along with at least seven years of experience in a GMP-regulated production environment. Candidates should have experience implementing process equipment and conducting GMP commissioning and qualification, including IQ, OQ, and PQ; radiopharmaceutical or nuclear production experience is highly valued.
