Manager Quality Environment Safety & Health (QESH) Who we are BAADER Food Systems Netherlands B.V. is part of the global BAADER Group. For over a century BAADER has been one of the leading players in the food processing market. Quality and Safety are two of the main drivers in the delivery process to our customers. Here in Doesburg both drivers are also a focal point but until now it has been mostly restricted to Quality Control only. Another focal point is safety and health. We combine both departments in one and for this reason we are looking for a Manager QESH (1,0 FTE) You will be advising on and implementing the company's quality and safety policy, including the coordination of the development and maintenance of the quality and safety system, promoting improvement processes, and ensuring compliance with established requirements, standards, and legislation. What your tasks will be Prepare and advise management on the quality and safety policy to be implemented by the company and established by management, considering the quality and safety standards in the countries to which exports are made. Monitor developments in (international) regulations and assess their impact on business operations. Advise Work Preparation and Production Management on process control systems, error registration systems, and the development of new products and production methods. Advise other departments on quality and safety aspects Develop, implement, and monitor procedures and standards based on the established quality and safety policy. Develop and maintain quality, safety and procedure manuals. Qualifying employees to conduct internal audits both on quality and safety. Conducting quality and safety audits at (international) suppliers, registering these assessments on the list of qualified suppliers, and distributing and managing this list. Supervising external audits/inspections by customers and representatives of inspection bodies. Determining measurement and analysis methods and measuring tools to be used for incoming and final product inspections. Evaluating measurement and analysis reports and, in cases of doubt, having measurements verified. Deciding on the approval or rejection of products. Managing all measuring tools used within the company. Ensuring periodic calibration. Inspecting returned final products and handling these in the event of a complaint or repair. Improving the overall Safety awareness (updating RI&E and Plan of Action) You will maintain frequent contact with the various disciplines and locations within BAADER Global and contribute to optimal collaboration. An effective QESH Manager requires a combination of technical, analytical, and interpersonal skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to assess risks and resolve issues HBO-WO, preferred with an education on “Hogere Veiligheidskunde” Leadership and coaching skills to drive QESH initiatives and motivate teams Communication and influencing skills Regulatory expertise in ISO standards, HACCP, BRC, IFS, FSMA, ARBO, and SHE legislation Operational and strategic thinking Technological proficiency, including QESH management software and standard office tools What we offer For this challenging new position, we offer a strategic and self-responsive job with great responsibilities and space for growth. Core Responsibilities

Develop and implement the company’s quality, environmental, health, and safety policies, systems, procedures, and improvement initiatives while ensuring compliance with applicable standards and legislation. Lead audits, supplier qualification, product inspection and measurement processes, calibration, complaint handling, and efforts to improve safety awareness across the organization.

Requirements

The role calls for strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, leadership and coaching skills, effective communication and influencing, and both operational and strategic thinking. A higher professional or university-level education is requested, preferably with a Higher Safety Studies qualification, alongside expertise in ISO standards, HACCP, BRC, IFS, FSMA, occupational health and safety, and SHE legislation.
