Job Description This is a strategic role for the organisation and will be responsible for shaping, driving and operationalising our AI strategy across products, engineering and business functions. Location The role is based in the Netherlands and candidates should be able to work regularly from our office (2d/week minimum): Hybrid working is possible, but we are looking for someone who can be present in the office when needed and closely collaborate with leadership teams. We Are Looking For Someone Who Can Combine AI strategy Product thinking Technical architecture Delivery leadership Practical execution The Successful Candidate Should Be Able To Define and execute an AI roadmap Drive AI adoption across the organisation Evaluate build-vs-buy decisions Assess ROI and business value Lead AI initiatives from idea to production Design AI architectures and integration patterns Understand modern AI platforms (OpenAI, Anthropic, AWS Bedrock, etc.) Build or oversee proofs of concept Create alignment between Product, Engineering and Business stakeholders Key Requirement If I had to summarise the profile in one sentence: We are looking for an AI leader who can both define the strategy and get things done. Core Responsibilities

Shape and operationalize the organization’s AI strategy across products, engineering, and business functions, including defining the AI roadmap and driving adoption. Lead AI initiatives from concept to production, assess business value and build-versus-buy options, and establish architectures and integrations while aligning stakeholders.

Requirements

The role calls for a senior, hands-on AI leader who can combine strategic direction with practical execution and deep technical understanding. Candidates should be able to evaluate modern AI platforms, design AI architectures, oversee proofs of concept, and collaborate across product, engineering, business, and leadership teams.
